This round was going to be held at Portimao, but the ACtrackreboot  track is no longer available so I have switched it to Pukekohe

if you don't have the track you're gonna be annoyed to find they force you to register to download, and then after you do that you discover file is just hosted on mediafire anyway, so the direct link for the track skipping the registration is

Great racing guys, had a lot of fun with Alberto and Simon. My pace was just fading with laps, can't explain it.......middle sector was just getting worse and worse for me:(

I was also running out of fuel and the last two laps tried not to use full throttle but still managed to run out just before the last turn and coasted to the finish line.

An excellent combo, the porsche was great fun here!
My race started well and I had the pace to hold onto Max and even challenge for the lead during the first half of the race - but annoyingly I'd forgotten to turn the fan on so stayed getting very hot and lost my concentration after about 20 minutes.
After that I kept making silly little mistakes, which allowed Max to drive off into the distance  Sad

Nevermind, it was a great fight while it lasted and the car was still very enjoyable just to hot lap in to finish the race..

Well done to Max for the win,  and thanks to the back markers for some excellent awareness

Great series all in all, I enjoyed nearly every race I entered  Smiley

Never raced at that circuit before so had to learn it in 30 minutes during the practice and qualifying sessions. Good to see in the race I was only 0.6 down on ultimate lap time and shows you how quick you can learn a short circuit like that if you are familiar with the car already.

Was a good race with some exciting battles.

Thanks for the racing and the season.

The same car in ACC just doesn't feel the same, the force feedback is numb and there's some sort of lag compared to AC. The car just doesn't feel as alive in ACC where in AC you can feel the bite, the understeer, the oversteer, the locking, I just don't feel much of those things in ACC without already being over the edge.

Well that was a fun track.

Qually:  I managed to nail a decent lap once the tyres warmed up, and chose to sit out the 2nd half in the pits, rather than stressing trying to find another tenth or 2.

Race:  In the first few laps several times I got too loose into T4 on braking and FMG was crawling all over my gearbox, then I did it a bit too much with a big wobble and he got the run down the back straight. I tried to go around the outside at the right / left at the end of the straight but that didn't work and had to cede the position,  so spent a few laps following him waiting for a chance to re-take the lead.  Eventually he was a bit slow in the final turn and I got a nice run down the start/finish straight and passed him into T1.  After that I managed to put in some decent laps and slowly built a gap, and in the end took the flag with a healthy margin.

Its been a fun little championship,  before it started I wasn't so sure as I never really enjoyed this car in the past, but the more I've driven it the more I came to understand it and now its over I'm a little sad that's it for now laugh  so a big thanks to SRW for organizing the series thumbup2

As FMG said, thanks to the back markers for some excellent awareness, every race I have been impressed with how they are fighting their own fight with the car/track, but always know whats going on and have done some really great moves to allow easy passes. Its one of the things I love about racing with you guys  thumbup2

Very nice track to end the porsche champ!

I made a very remarkable qualy for my usual standard, getting P3 just few hundredth of a second quicker than Alex .

The race was not remarkable at all unfortunately, for some laps I could manage in some way to stay in front of Alex, but he was actually faster than me, so I was always close to my limit ... until a spin in the corn after the long straight gave him the go for a well deserved pass, also Simon exploited the situation to pass me.
I restarted with a little contact with Mark (sorry!), but could stay in front of him... after few laps  I saw Mark disconnected and I made the remaining half of the race with no more press ion and a bit annoyed.

All in all I enjoyed very much the champ, and would really like to thank SRW for organizing it!

Looking forward to the next one
Ciao
