We can postpone the event if people want to. I don't mind.
PLease give us your opinion Geoff... If it's as daft as the previous 911 thingy then I will have to use something else, like maybe these new Group C monsters?

Actually quite a nice car to drive, only very mild lift-off oversteer. Very little to adjust setup wise, so should make a good series I think. Not sure about the new tyre pressure adjustment feature, without knowing the tyre temps, difficult to know if you are adjusting the right way, having said that a slight drop in front pressure did make the 964 a little quicker over a lap. Not bought the Group C cars yet so can't comment on those.

The new shared memory changes and web based in-game overlays allow tyre temps (and a lot more besides) to be monitored now with new, customisable HUD elements. There is a lot of info here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=TOQCJgVB9no This is a new and evolving feature and more third party apps are expected. The 964 will make a great series. They've also tweaked the 934 to make it a little more forgiving over bumps and crests but not tried the updated version yet. Still hoping we'll include that one sometime, but there's a lot of nice new content to explore now.

Not sure what state the server's in now. I ended up rebooting the whole thing and that gets past the previous error and the front end all loads. I've started the event as Matt had it setup and on the server GUI it's counting down the session but the last line in the DOS window for the server process is
[WARN] 05:28:56 DedicatedServerProcess.Process.Start pipe still connecting
I think that was reported before I started the server so it may be ok, I guess I'll find out when my game machine has had a chance to get the update.

I was going to say maybe best to run this as a fun / practice event and reschedule it for the end of the season if people are struggling to get the update installed in time.

Now updated after a number of attempts and Ohio running OK offline. I’d prefer to give it a miss if the Server is not working properly. What is the current status? I’m On iPad at the moment. (My PC takes awhile to login and usually a number of reboots to login to our Server.)

My update has completed, been on the server, and apart from all the red words etc, seems ok joined the race with no issues, and did a couple of laps. So all seems well.
I am leaning towards postponing the event, as not everyone may turn up with waiting for the updates I would't mind some time to test the new cars, and add some events to the series.
I will go with the flow. Happy to race if people are good to go. Wait until pratice start time and then we'll make a decision.

Just joined the server and all seemed ok. Happy to run this as a non-championship race however, which may anyway give time to adjust setups based on the new tyre pressure changes.

I will be there, but happy if you make it non-championship.

Mystified joined OK and drove around in practice only car there (?) then after a few laps view changed to bonnet view and I dropped off the server. Tried to login again but Server would not respond and after a number of attempts to join the 4 cars on the Server I quit!

Wondered what happened Bill, you said hello on chat and disconnected before anyone could reply from my POV.
Fun racing with Geoff, I got a great start but sliding too much on cold tyres soon let Geoff and then Eck passed. Eck dropped it almost straight away and left me to chase Geoff. I didn't expect to catch up as could get that close in qualifying but somehow did. The longer the race went on the more sideways you seemed to get Geoff and eventually a bizarre sequence of corners with my almost losing it and you going wide I got in front. Really struggled to be consistent with the pressure of you always in my mirrors. Great fun.
Well done all and shame Bill had problems and Spanner didn't get the update in time.

Good race Pete, as usual you were quicker in the race than in qually & once you got ahead I could not quite keep up. I actually thought I had forced you off track because I got out of shape on the kerb, so slowed to let you catch up & promptly ran wide at that turn because I was busy looking in the mirror for you & missed the turn in. Congrats.
