Yeh, another update today which seems to include the Volkswagen IDR Electric car.
Edit: VW IDR can only be driven in Time Attack Challenge at Nordschleife. Had a go, first lap went off early on, second lap went off late in the lap, third attempt managed 6m28.8s, 664th best time! 30s off the best.

Enjoyed that, but big apology for the start - hadn't realised I had set a qually time (I didn't intend to) and surprised to find myself mid-pack on the grid. That would have been ok, except for the fact that turning off Web HUD meant I had no start lights - I was still waiting for them to appear when everyone else suddenly got under way..! Cars behind me obviously had nowhere to go and Eck especially ended up severely hampered and punted onto the grass, really sorry for that. Combine that with a spin of my own at T2 and that was a messy first lap.
After that though really enjoyed it, and had a good chase of the cars ahead. Good battle with Mark and GT, especially with GT. Unfortunately I did have a couple of incidents at the same corner (tight left-hander after the long straight) first with Mark, later with GT. Similar coming together each time, I was ahead but they came back at me, got alongside and contact was made. I think these were probably 50:50 racing incidents, but Mark especially was badly compromised and I felt I should give both these places back at the end. Hope that's ok.
Fun race though! Congrats Geoff and podium.

Wondered what happened at the start there Dieter, we've all done it before and no doubt we'll all do it again. I almost forgot about this race so just crept in at the end of quali to join. No time for setup so I just filled up and made sure my gears were long enough to get me to the end of the straights. Had a great race chasing or being chased from start to end.....great fun. Contact with Dieter was just one of those clumsy simracing incidents as far as I saw it, where you're not quite sure where you're opponent is at the crucial time. Again, we've all been there.....was no need to have given the place back at the end for that. Well done to Geoffers and John up front and great racing all

Good result & enjoyable race, really quite liking the Opel. Got my usual poor start, really yet to figure out what I am doing wrong, & Mark got alongside into T1, I had the inside & just about held the lead down to T2 where the inside line cemented the lead. Mark managed to hold off John for a couple more laps by which time I was nearly 3s ahead. I know how quick John is & I expected to struggle to hold my advantage, but gradually the gap increased & I was able to finish with a fairly healthy lead. May have been a different story if Dieter had not lost time early on, I kept noticing my lead over him was diminishing at quite a rate. Congrats to John & Tudor on the podium.

hay that was good fun, decided to that the BMW 6 series for this series, with this track just could not get the BMW on the back of Geoffers in the race, that Opel is way too quick for the BM.
looking forward to the next one well done Geoff and GT

I was convinced I'd been to blame for the start. So, my heart sank and I left with my tail between my legs . My missus likes the freedom to watch her tv programs, while I'm pretending to race. The consternation I received as I entered the living room, helped little... lol.

I just had a couple of goes at the Electric thingy, best so far is 6:20.9 which puts me 1353rd fastest 6:18.7 now, and that puts me 1144th flippin heck. I could get another couple of seconds off, but 20 secs I doubt it... land
