Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

I saw an email about a game update yesterday, I suspect the server needs updating. I'll go check.

Thanks Pete, it was up before. I wonder what this update is for....

Only new content are WTCC 2019 cars, rest is physics tweaks, a few track updates, sound mods & user interface changes from what I can see.

Enjoyed that, had a nice race with Spanner for the first few laps but I made too many silly mistakes and found myself lapping alone for most of the race. Cayman drives great but again the gear ratios seemed to not suit the track too well which was a bit frustrating especially through the Degna and Spoon corners.

Well done to Dieter and Geoff up front and thanks for the racing all.

Lost the back end in 320R (or whatever it's called) and ended up backing the car in to the wall. Dead engine, game over Sad

Enjoyed chasing GT and spanner for several laps, but they both had spins unfortunately. That left me about 10 secs behind Geoff and a safe P2, but then he must have had an incident as well, as suddenly I was right with him. And then a couple of corners later he went off again handing me the lead. Bad luck Geoff.

Hope we return to these at some point as that little KTM is super fun. Thanks all.

I do like these cars, and Suzuka is a fave track, was enjoying myself when I managed to exceed my skill level
and smashed the nose into a wall  Shocked the body display was full red, and though the car seemed to steer ok
it must have lost all front downforce because it really did not want to go round corners at any speed.
Continued for a couple laps, but wasn't going anywhere fast so dropped out to go some amateur mechanicing

Grats to Frex for the Series Championship  thumbup2 thumbup2  I Am Not Worthy

All went well until 3-4 laps from the end when the rear tyres started to lose grip. Had about a 10s lead over Frex, although he was catching me at about half a second a lap, when the rear suddenly came around on me in the last part of the Esses. Just got going again as Frex came along but only got as far as the hairpin when I had a half spin & gifted Frex the lead. Tried in vain to catch up again but had another moment at Degner on the last lap so finally finished just a few seconds ahead of Tudor.

Congrats to Frex on the win & the championship, clearly the fastest driver all season.  clap clap
