I had already removed the GPLGT carset from "Active Carsets", and checked that GPLSC was "Active". I can also confirm that I have CARSSC alongside the SCSEASON tab.

Axel, can I simply delete the existing "sgem.ini" file and allow Gem to rebuild a new one? I am sure that this is where the problem is, because it happens online and offline. Plus I can load the mod/track etc, and select car, but everything goes wrong when I actually try to "drive" a car.

SGEM.ini is a file for the tracks, it lists all of them.

Don't you have a backup of your gpl folder?

oops! I meant to say delete Gem.ini?


I do have a backup of GPL on a memory stick, it might be a few months old...………..just have to find the right memory stick  

update.... just looked through the GEM.ini with notepad,,     The driver/carsets a total mess!!  I think there are 3 driver names linked to the SC cars ( my 65, 67 and GT profiles??!!)


If I delete this GEM.ini file Axel, then GEM will just build a new one ??

Yes, no problem to delete. You will have to set all settings again, but no problem
