same here fabri, I just reinstalled the track in case mine was out of date but still blocked from server did some offline laps, you hold your breath in the downhill roller coaster sector 1 some corners are tight for these beasts, but you start to get a rhythm after a handful of laps. Could only manage a 1:33.2 so far with 40L fuel. Fastest AI was a 1:30, so work to do!

great track and car combo very physical! I was sweating like a beast just for practise not a lot in it between the Ford and Chevy from what I have seen but more comparison times needed. This race will be all about keeping it on the black stuff, its so easy to put a tyre wide then you are on the slippery sand and I expect mistakes will happen over a 40minute tough race.

Nice to see only 4/10ths separate the top 4 cars so far that’s pretty impressive on a tricky undulating circuit like this

Have a hospital visit tomorrow, will be touch and go to get back in time for race, if I don't make it have a good one, this is first time in this car and it is well suited to this type of track.

I tried the Ford version tonight but something I’m not quite getting with overall pace. It feels more planted, better on the brakes and better turn in than the Chevy yet I’m a second slower in it than the Chevy over a lap Maybe I’m just not as sharp after a long day at work compared to my fresher weekend sesh

Well, my offline time puts me 3rd on the provisional grid at the moment. As I still had 20 mins+ of fuel onboard I'm fairly happy with that for now.
My Internet is still coming and going so I'll have to hope for the best tomorrow evening..

Not much practice, standard set up, blew it up with 9 mins left. This track and car were made for VR, great choice.

Glad you enjoyed it bob, you must have turned up late ? Looked like a rubbish turn out when I was forced to bale with only 4 cars present. Took me nearly an hour of reinstalling new drivers and flashing the firmware of my wheel to get it working again then I had to re calibrate all my controllers seemed to be working again but I kept getting mg-uk warning flashing up so something still amiss I was going to suggest re-running this race next week as quite a few had technical issues or couldn’t make the race

Well I think I found the source of some of my pc's wierd behaviour, it decided (yet again) to ignore my settings and download a massive feature update during the race. That combined with my throttle pedal playing up big time made life very hard for me, not helped by out breaking myself in the very early laps to drop myself back to dead last Normally I'm against reruns mid season, but I can probably bodge the pedals by next week and make a proper go off it - to be honest we could have 8 rounds at the Bridge in a row and i'd still be asking for more in these. You need to be sure there'll actually be an increase in turn out though if you are planning on a rerun. Well done to Jukka and the podium, I scuppered what chances I had early on. The throttle got decidedly worse as the race went on (it actually sounded like the engine was missing by the end!) so I might have ended up 4th anyway..
