I've dropped a post for this race over at Kunos to see if we can entice more drivers. Feel free to let others know when you race others on MP servers  Smiley

@Pete, is this up on the server for practise yet? Thanks in advance.

Just sorting it out, when I tried last night it told me I needed to upgrade the server. Only just had the chance to get the files from Steam. Give me another 5 mins

Thanks Pete, just hopped on to check it over. Only thing was that practise was dry with some light clouds and sunshine. Not sure how the weather settings work for ACC but will need to be wetter than that in practise so that we get a feel for wet conditions in the race.

I had rain at 1, which I thought meant rain, but with randomness at 1. This means some change but not much so I'm surprised it wasn't wet. I've turned the randomness off now and restarted the server.

Just entered the server and it ran with "storm" conditions which is the highest rain setting, deemed to replicate "red flag" conditions. If you ask me this is a bit too much for our first rain race. I would suggest medium or maximal heavy rain.

The weather range is 0 to 1.0 - what would people like?

0 to 1...ooh choices choices  laugh

So does 0 mean damp to wet and 1 mean heavy to storm? (Just going on the two reports back from me and nsfw so far  Undecided ). If so I’d plump for 0 for this first wet test race.

As long as it's a fixed wetness, it shouldn't matter as that gives people time to get a feel for it.

0.5 sounds good to start with. Lets try this and see how it works.

what wet session times are you guys hitting so far? Im on about 2:11 with the Porsche and 2:12 Jaguar, though it was very wet. That seemed about an average time from other guys that were hopping on the server last night (nobody from here).
