ACC has been a massive disappointment, it just feels like a demo. Graphically it looks really basic, the cars look like they are not touching the ground, theres no shadows. I gave up because the lack of real FFB (or is that because the tyres are really soft) I'm braking too early because through the corner i get no FFB to understand how i'm loading the tires up, i cant push through any of the slow corners and it was pot luck turning into the slower corner at the end of the back straight as to whether it would washout or turn.

The lack of chat, the inablity to understand the event i.e session lengths, the lack of help to understand the setup pages all contribute.

+1 thumbup1 and now that AC is every other week possibly a reason  why the enthusiasm and numbers are declining.

i totally disagree on the graphics being basic  Huh you must have your settings wrong or your pc isnt up to it. I get great ffb feel through my fanatec gear so no complaints on that front either. Will agree on confusing UI in race sessions though and that sim has issues to be resolved.

Anyway, theres a good old fashioned AC race using proper hairy armed race cars this week, so im sure i will see you all trackside  Wink Smiley

Possible, i tend to be cautious as running triples at 5760x1200 tends to tax things and have seemingly ben bought up to turn off or down shadows. However due to max cpu usage in this and and another (Division 2) advice has been to run no v-sync to try and cap the usage.

IS there any guide as to the effect all the settings actually have on frame rate?

I would gladly stick to AC as its the only one at the moment i feel like i'm driving the car.

Turn off V-sync permanently, it's useless unless you get screen tearing.

Brands if you ask me. Silverstone is much more fun in the GT3 cars.

Are we talking ACC here? If so, Hungaroring as it's nice and twisty and we hardly ever use it. If the choice is BH vs Silverstone, then BH every time!

Hungary is another good choice  Smiley  hey if they are a hit we can always run a Porsche cup series  Cool  though id prefer numbers to increase a bit first.  Undecided

Its been a common 'solution' as if i run it off, the cpu will site at 99-100% and I get game freezes. IF i try and limit the frame rate with v-sync it helps reduce the load on the cpu. Seems ot be a common issue with i5 processors with a few game engines.

I think it’ll be Hungary for a P-cup race. I tested it briefly last night and wasn’t overly impressed with Brands which looks better in AC !
Hungary looked and felt good and will be a good track to play with setup tweaks to improve the car.  Sadly there is only one P-cup skin in game so we will all look the same  Sad. (Are there skin packs available for ACC yet?)

Didnt realise there was a Porsche Cup car? Thought even Spa was run with only GT3's. Hope its a more driveable version than Raceroom & AC.
