NoGrip Legacy TC Championship 2019
Puech Arnal Special Hillclimb
19th of August, 2019

If you thought St. Roch was twisty.... Wink
As this is such a short route, We'll do 3 runs from which 2 best will be summed to get total time.

Server info:
- Server Name: NoGrip Legacy TC Server
- Password: tc4ever

Event Info
Track: Puech Arnal hillclimb stage by JCRR.
Track download: *DOWNLOAD*
Allowed Classes: Division 1 classes.
  • up to 850cc.
  • 850 - 999cc.
Time: 20:30 BST
Three runs, from which two best ones will be summed to make the total time. Best total time wins. Drivers must use same car to all three runs.
First, Second and Third Run: Will be run in qualifying mode with cars sent to the hill with one minute intervals. Check out the notes about more info.
Extra rules: You must have at least 10 liters of fuel in your tank when leaving from the pits for the run.
Scoring:
  • Both classes score points separately. Winner of each class receives 9 points, 2nd in each class receives 8 points and so on and so forth.
  • Overall winner of the race scores additional 1 point.
  • Start in a class where driver has not started yet in this season, scores automatically 3 additional points.

Notes
- Timed runs are run in Qualifying mode.
- The cars will line up to the start line and Nappe1 will message the start signals by using in game chat messages. There will be notice of 30 and 10 seconds before each start and also of course message indicating start.
- When every driver has gone the stage thru once, new event will be launched and another run will be timed, exactly same as the first one. After second run, the third run will be done same as previous one.
- Same car has to be used for all runs
- If driver fails to finish the stage, he gets time of 7 minutes for that run.
- Two best times for each driver will be summed for total time. The best total time wins the event.

Thanks SpecialKS for posting results. Smiley

I originally planned running this one with Suzuki, but as monday was 60th birthday of Mini, I decided change the car. I did 1:50.800 in practice, so my performance was pretty close to optimal and 3rd place in class is fine result. Smiley

If I would been driving Suzuki, I probably would have lost to Dan, as my PB was 2:59

With 1:50.800 you would have been the overall winner  Grin

This event was not the one I had hoped for. Intended at least to beat the 3:00 minutes mark as my best in practice was about 3:01.
In part one I left the track and in both parts two and three I made a mistake in the same corner so I did not achieve my personal goal.

Better ones will come  Wink

Quite an interesting course, not too tricky to learn & ideal for these small cars.

Had three good runs in the 850 Mini with 2 new PBs but not fast enough to beat Markus in the Abarth to class victory.

Congrats to Nocatu & Salesman on 1st & 2nd & to Markus on 3rd & 850 win.  clap clap clap

I agree the perfect track for the 850ccm class. The first race for me in an Abarth. The next race is the last race in Div.1 and so it was important for me to be ahead of Geoffers. I was slow in the first two runs as Nappe announced that two of three are counting. The last run went better but a small mistake avoided a good time, offline I was just under 2:45.
But fortunately it was quick enough to be ahead of Geoffers, so the next race will be critical.
Grats to Nocatu and Salesman and thanks Nappe for organizing. Cu in Japan.
