i made a token guest appearance. Had been out all weekend so hadnt done any laps. Turned up in qually using my old setups (1:29.3's) but car felt totally unbalanced with rubbish tyre temps. I soldiered on in the race but once Kimi disapeared i had nobody to race, with Jaari edging away further and further into a 15 sec gap and SRW likewise behind me. With a stone cold right rear tyre and hardly worn tyres, i had pre-selected a tyre change at the stops that would have left me even further behind so i parked up.

Mmm that is a shame MJ. These cars should be fun. Could it be that the track version was different? If the name is the same, it will still let you on the server i believe. Hopefully you can make the next outing on Sebring. Always nice to have a bigger grid.
Oh i am bringing bananas to Sebring. Somebody should sabotage Max's car!

The version on Racedepartment was 2.02 and the version on server was 1.15, every time I tried to join it froze my PC. In future will test online before the night. The link pointed to the latest version, did everyone download and install this version?

I didn't even make it to quali Ran a few laps offline and then joined practice session but had similar problems to MJ. Cold tyres locking up and flat spotting especially at the 2 hairpins. I presumed the track was the same one as we've raced before so didn't even think about checking.

Idea for the future, download the track and place it on your dropbox and use that link in the opening post. If there is an update, you can decide if it is worth upgrading or not, but at least you will have the original version.

Very good to see a grid more crowded than usual! Nice race even if I Couldn't find really a decent pace with the quicker RSR … opted for Medium tyres and 20 litres refuel, but unfortunately lost some precious seconds missing the pit area and making a quick come back to get in the pit area … so my advantage on Stefan was not enough to contain his recovering. (sorry for little bit of contact there Alberto)
Absolutely no problem Stefan, that was 100% tough and honest car racing! Thank you MAx for the setups! ... hopefully I will learn something more on the RSR. See you next! Alberto
