Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Silverstone

Cars allowed: Alpine A364

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (25 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: No

Server: simracing.org.uk Mondays
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

We may have a new driver joining us  clap

My name Luis Mesquita I am a virtual driver in leagues in Brazil and recently found SimRacing.org.uk and was especially interested in the GTL championships, which is no longer in leagues in Brazil.
I wonder if it is possible for me to participate, either racing or 4Funs here with you GTL? and how can i get the mods. (especially 1972 French Formula 3) and tracks to be present on the server.
Grateful for the attention.

Be great to have you join us Luis. Our season finishes in December so all of our series are reaching their end but please, don't let that stop you from joining in any of our forthcoming races.

Is it likely to be any worse than say Bob in the US?

FWIW

...and I know that we are talking different servers but, we have quite a strong Brazilian cohort in UKGPL and generally there are very few connection issues. Even allowing for the fact that all of UKGPL servers are actually older PC's that have been pressed into service in member's houses both here in the UK and in Germany, our connection and ping values are very good.

So I am presuming ( which is a dangerous thing to do when dealing with the interweb  Roll Eyes ) that whatever internet infrastructure there is between here and Brazil is pretty robust and Luis will have no problems........it might even attract a few more frustrated GTL fans from South America to join us??
