Question: Is it mandatory to use pit limiter? 40 mph
YES when actually race pitting. NO for everything else

First off big sorry to Dan, just lost my rear grip and went to the wall and then hit you.  Secondly,,, big success,,, finished the race and only got lapped once!!!  These cars are way beyond my capabilities, I just set it up as docile as I could like I would for a endurance race.  Grats to the podium and all the finishers.  Sorry to the guys who had problems.......See you all at Monaco, I know I'll never finish there!!!

No problem Bob. I should have braked earlier. Made it to the pits and they repaired everything except the front right that had gone ! Ah well. Followed you for quite a number of laps, very good pace and it looked like your laptimes were very consistent. So no worries about Monaco I'd say.

Cheers, Dan

Grats to the podium and welcome to the new drivers .

First of all thanks to Osni, for sharing his setup with me. I had managed to wrestle the car sub 1:30 with my own setup, but it was hard work and worked the tyres much too hard. Osni's setup achieved the same speed at much less cost  Wink

I was still around 1.5 secs + off the pace of the front guys but more than happy with the improvement. However I was less pleased with the SnG for 2 track cut warnings ( I always thought it was 3??) I served the SnG and rejoined approx. 35secs behind the field. 2 laps later "DQ for failing to serve SnG"!!!  Huh Huh

Also, while I am in moaning mood  Cheesy. Every time that someone joined the server my car would freeze for 2 secs, but the game kept rolling, so I would lose approx. 2 secs for each person who joined??. Obviously this was not during the race and only impacted my practice and quali runs, but did anyone else have similar issues??? or is there something amiss with my install?

For future reference............

Third party tracks are notoriously bad at correctly predicting the correct No. of laps/Fuel quantity.

Get this invaluable add-on to GTL called XD which provides loads of in-race information in HUD format. Things like race position, fuel used, tyre wear, fastest laptime etc are displayed for your information. Get XD here http://www.vitumo.de/ and drop the downloaded files in to your GTL main folder.

I seemed to take a long time to load into the game so I don't think it was anything faulty at your end (bar the usual  Wink ).

Sorry for leaving qualy several times. I was getting an intermittent sound loss issue, which seems to be getting worse.

So, by XD the forecast of laps (Silverstone 70) for a 60 liter tank was 27 laps ...

Well perhaps.....
By my reckoning (and this can be affected by drivers setup and style) I had it at 2.28 litres per lap so that equated to just over 26 laps. I therefore revised the lap count to 25 to avoid anyone running out of fuel. However I have to say that Ziu told me by pm that he was getting a higher fuel figure and wanted to have the race further shortened.

My Brazilian is zero and I'm always impressed by others ability to have English as a second language and use it so well but.........

Luis, Good Night means Bye Bye, Good Evening means Hello.

I hope no offence is caused by my petty observation, none is meant.  smartass
