Hi Tony poss stupid question the race info says Monaco as if this is supplied with GTL game my GTL from Steam does not include Monaco, but i have in an old GTL folder a track called 1967 Monaco with a loading screen in black and white and GTR2 written on it, have tried going on server and it works, my question is this track correct and okay to use or will it cause errors when other drivers join

1967 Monaco was included in the download Tony supplied. So it'll be the correct one.

That didn't last long, tapped into a spin at Station Hairpin & lost the engine. Sad

Roger, Tony and yours Truly were the drivers that managed to finish the race. We switched off the lights and closed the gates and had a pint. We agreed that the driving standard was poor tonight.

cheers, Dan Wink

I got my mistake in early and lost the rear end just enough at the chicane to oversteer into the barriers and shed a wheel into the harbour  Undecided

I had been taking that chicane flat in 5th every time, but just once it had to go wrong, guess I should have known  Roll Eyes

Grats to those who were careful and smart enough to get to the finish.  Wink

Results and replay now posted.

A huge thanks to everyone who took part tonight. It really is most appreciated.  winkiss

A big hug goes out to all those who came to an abrupt end, but never have I raced Monaco when it wasn't a crash fest.

Good news is, all our remaining tracks are really great racing circuits (well nearly all).

So don't be discouraged, we need you fast guys to show us mere mortals how it's done  I Am Not Worthy

Cheers

If Nocatu and salesman fill in their Profile/Driver details/Country we can give you a little flag to wave.

Sure thing Tony!

I messed up and hit the barrier at Tabac at lap 2 or 3, pressed the throttle more than I should have, hit the rear and then the front losing a wheel in the process.
The F3 is a fun little car. Not sure if I'll make it for the next one but I plan to show up regularly.
At least it was fun while it lasted Grin

It appears this car is considerably quicker than the real Alpine F3 car, quickest qually lap at the 1972 Monaco F3 race was 1m31.9s!

According to this link the real Alpine A364 had only about 125hp (1971) - if I remember right the GTL one has 180hp:

Not going to do this series and only did Monaco because I love the track.  Would have liked to finish, but mistake at Harbor Chicane ended it rather abruptly. Congrats to Roger, Tony & Dan (The sole survivors!  Shocked)

Not going to do this series

Cry Sorry to read that Erling. I'll keep your car in the garage in case you reconsider at a later date.
