Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Montlhery 3405 (Chicanes)

Cars allowed: Alpine A364

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (28 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: No

Server: simracing.org.uk Mondays
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

May I suggest that we do not skip the last chicane while building up speed for a qually lap?

I would hope that no-one would ever consider doing this.

Terrible driving by me could not stay with Salesman and Nocatu, then crashed twice at the second chicane loosing 20+ seconds. Great track would be nice to race the full circuit without the chicanes.

Grats to Nocatu on win

Grats to Salesman 2nd place

Lasted longer than feared  Roll Eyes

Didn't expect to be able to continue after my spin including collision with Dan.

Sorry Dan for ruining your race.

A bit of a lucky win again, we had practiced with Salesman on Sunday but I didn't think our times were that good, to be honest I was expecting someone to go down to 1.18 so I was surprised when qually started. I couldn't get a good lap in, my PB from Sunday was a 1.19.2xx with a car almost full of petrol, but I got nowhere near it yesterday.

An apology to Osni for bumping into him twice at the first and second corners, the first time I thought there was plenty of space but we got squeezed so I went airborne for a bit thankfully without taking any damage, I never realized we touched at the second corner, I only saw that in the replay! Hopefully I didn't damage your car.

After that I tried to catch the frontrunners, Geoffers and Rog made a mistake so I went past them and then I followed Salesman for a bit, he had some trouble with his pedals so he let me past, I managed to build a gap but I nearly bottled it in the second half of the race, a clumsy pass over the curbs of the last chicane sent me spinning and hitting the wall and I'm not sure how I got away with no damage at all. Tyre wear became an issue towards the end so lots of sliding all over the place, got my only cut track warning in the penultimate lap while Salesman was in my tail and the fact that he had two warnings made him extra careful so in the end I was the one to cross the line first. Grats to all finishers!
