Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Brands Hatch (GP)

Cars allowed: Alpine A364

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (24 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: No

Server: simracing.org.uk Mondays
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Had to serve a stop/go for jumping the start (which I don't think I did) so that was my racing over.

@Salesman. Appologies for the nudge in lap 3 that caused you to spin. It wasn't until the replay that I saw that I was to blame and should have waited for you.
Sorry again mate.

Cheers, Dan

So, that was the final race of Season 19 which means that all that is left for me to do is............

Wish you all a very happy Holiday and hope to see you soon, either in the Christmas Special or when we kick of Season 20.

Either way it's been a blast but only because you all turned out for these races. Wouldn't be worth the effort if you weren't there  Wink

Cheers

Many thanks for organizing the series Tony, it was great fun!!

With regard to the race, I really need to apologize to Geoffers once more, and to all the others who could not avoid me after my T1 shenanigans. Start was ok, decided to brake early, then realized I overdid it, tried to accelerate once more but all that weight transfer sent both Geoffers and me spinning... tried to move out of the way but I was in the middle so the pack couldn't avoid me, sorry if I damaged your cars guys!

Enjoy the Holidays!

No problem Nocatu, I seem to have been fated in this series to have a first lap incident, a fair number of which have been my fault. On that note I in turn have to apologise to Rog for bumping him into a spin mid-race, thought I could get through there but just misjudged it.

However it was quite an enjoyable race, had several laps chasing & battling with Rog, but the inevitable tyre issues caused me to have a couple of spins near the end, so lucky to bring it home 3rd just ahead of Dan.

Congrats to Matt & Rog  clap clap & congrats to Rog on a convincing championship victory.  I Am Not Worthy I Am Not Worthy

Thanks to Tony for organising this series, look forward to the Cobra/Corvette Monday races in the New Year, hope to see lots of you there.  thumbup1

Finally it has been a pleasure racing with you all on Mondays & Wednesdays this year, Happy Christmas & a prosperous New Year to you all.  yes

I missed the race last night because I was "going green" and helping to save trees and the environment.  Wink
I felt that my participation was sure to end in the ugly demise of some greenery around Brands Hatch within very few laps  Roll Eyes………..or...…………………….. I was on Christmas present wrapping duty and could not be excused  Undecided
Either way I doubt that my participation would have dramatically affected any results lol.

Have a great Christmas Break everyone and a Peaceful New Year.

Thanks again to Tony for organising ( and overseeing ) our weekly fix of simracing and fun. I notice that the usual extensive range of hostilities has already been posted for 2020, so I will have to spend a few hours soon setting up all the dedicated GTL installs. You aren't planning to be away from your computer over the next couple of weeks are you Tony??  Roll Eyes
