Nice racing while it lasted. Must have done something wrong in my pitstop. I pulled into my box and nothing happened, reversed back and forth, nada  Roll Eyes Oh well.

Nice turn out.

Congrats Max.

I was hanging in there for a bit, but nearly did a 360 before the back straight and the race was sealed by then. And something went horribly wrong in the pit stop, I only got fuel but my tyres just gave up after.

Lapped traffic - you guys are too generous, you have your own race please don't go that much out of your way to allow faster traffic to pass.

Quite enjoyed that and nice to see over 10 cars for a change,  Smiley almost forgot what it looks like here  Cry

Turned up in time for qually with no practise  : but at least knew the track well.
Only qualified 10th as I was on mediums and 35L fuel  Tongue
Had a good fun first 20 minutes battling Bobs Ferrari whilst we chased Stefan and another Vette, good fun. Gradually picked my pace up until I could do 2.02’s and soon got up to 6th  Smiley
Pit stop went smoothly and rejoined 6th but on medium tyres the car was less poised and snatchy under braking. But no cars near me to fight so lonely last 15 mins. Had a spin with 7 mins remaining when I got too much kerb but finished 6th  Smiley

Nice track and car combo  Cool

Hehe, that was fun, thanks for the race at the back of the field.

My first online race for longer than I care to think and I was happy to just finish without taking anyone out. Looking forward to the next one Smiley

Did anyone else take fuel only at the pitstop?

I did and after the stop my tyres were a bit weird, grip seemed to come/go and I struggled to do consistent laps in the 2nd part of the race...

I did the same, ... and with medium tyres last part of the race I was 1 second slower, I guess that was due to the tyres life ending.

By the way I really enjoyed the race trying (successfully) to keep behind Mark first and for one tenth of a second at the end also Simon (you did really great with the slowest car of the grid imho!).
So I could keep my 3p got after a good qualy. NO way to get closer to the 2 aliens in front of me: Grats Max and Alex!

Also very good to see a very crowded race...

I enjoyed that, actually did a bit of racing as apose to just drifting backwards, managed to push during the second half as I got more confidence to brake later. It was good to see a decent size grid as well.

Looking forward to the next round at Spa! The practice server will be up later in the week

I took tyres and fuel. My tyres aren't going to last 50 mins and by taking tyres I can push as hard as possible for the whole race. Unfortunately I had to make the 15 seconds lost in the pits back up, which I did, but only on the 2nd last lap by which time I had little time to get past (which I didn't), so overall not much in it as far as no tyres vs tyres at the pit stop goes.

The problem with the BMW is that it's really hard to get past anyone cause it's so slow in a straight line. Even in the slipstream I can't keep up with anyone so I have to have a massive run out of a corner or be really really brave on the brakes to get past. Too many bumps on the track to be super aggresive on the brakes for an overtake at Sebring so I was relying on a mistake really.

Really had a lot of fun hunting for a podium but I had the feeling it wasn't going to be enough to be fast in the corners.

Not much I can do on setup, already running fairly low wing tbh, so the BMW really could do with a help on engine power.
