Yes, I remember Mark J, Bob, Kimi, Jeff, Goldtop and Lade too, but no so sure about some of them being the same persons I was used to race with.
Been a long time..  Roll Eyes

Hello all !

Some here could remember me as an old GTL/PnG driver, mostly from the vanished and regretted NoGrip place. Nicely got my attention on your series thanks to Fabrizio, I might be in if you're ok with this.
Though I don't know this mod pack appearently..  Undecided

See you.. Smiley

Nice to see you here!

Greetings from Japan! (Writing this onboard a Shinkansen bullet train  Cool )

Where has my last post gone on this thread?  Huh I had typed up the provisional calendar with track links and some options on a few of the listed circuits - it’s gone  Cry has someone removed it by accident? I kept editing it so was definitely posted in various forms. Did it morning of day I went away and took about an hour. Bummer. Had asked for some help testing the options as I am away.
Hoping to start the new championship on weds 13th November as I will need a week to get a drivers file sorted and test a few tracks when I get back.

Mmm I have no problems in starting the championship from like the 4th of December... Then we have enough time for some more testing.  whistling

Konichiwa gents, I have returned from my travels. (Awesome country, cant recommend Japan enough, loved it  Smiley ) Feels like I've been away for 3 weeks as we saw so much.

Does anyone on here have Interlagos 1975 installed? Its available but I cannot find a good link and want to try it out for quality. It has been used elsewhere for online racing so assume its good enough and bug-free. Otherwise we will use the modern version. There is also a 60's/70's version of Watkins glen but not sure its as good as the more recent 'modern' release that contains the classic boot layout anyway. The latter looks and feels far better quality but is slightly atmosphere spoilt by the modern high catch fencing.

Provisional Calendar:-

Fuji '68 (F1 Layout)

Brazil de Interlagos '75
https://www.mediafire.com/file/rzf85unu4fmweq0/interlagos_1975.zip/file

South Africa  Kyalami '67

Spain (Montjuic)

Monaco

Belgium - Zolder '67
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/zolder-1967-v-2.18383/

Sweden  Scandinavian Raceway - Anderstorp   https://www.dropbox.com/s/i1mi2hi18eixqti/Anderstorp%202007%20v1.2%20by%20Rainmaker.7z?dl=0

Netherlands
(stock Kunos track)

France Circuit - Charade
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/charade-_spc2018.19689/

Great Britain Silverstone 67
(stock kunos track)

Germany  Nürburgring Nordschleiffe
(stock Kunos track)

Austria Österreichring

Italy   Monza (Road Course '66)
(Stock Kunos track)

United States  Watkins glen (boot classic)
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/watkins-glen-international.20204/

All are good for pitboxes. Track list is based on the 1975 F1 season though I have replaced round1 Argentina with Fuji (as used in '76) because there is no Argentina track for AC. I have also swapped Paul Ricard for Pau '74 as the latter is a good street circuit and more historic than the brightly painted modern Paul Ricard. Will put links up or a dropbox link to the mod tracks needed.

Will need peoples car choices pretty soon to get a drivers file knocked up. Hopefully Pete can put a practise server up once we get the list put together and people can check their car appears correctly.

This is the longest calendar seen, an entire F1 season; I really like this idea. Thank you Mark. With historical sistem points should be great.  Roll Eyes  angel Full historical, my dream!

About tracks:
Monaco: I think the modern layout is the more close to '75 one
Belgium: Zolder?
Netherlands: old Zandvoort?
France: I can suggest also Charade
United States: Watkins glen; this track has really bad colors.

*Canada is also a possible choise.

heck yes, Charade is well made and much better for overtaking than that silly street circuit  Smiley
