Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Didn't go very well here. My fuel estimate seemed way off in the Mustang as it was telling me 100 litres for the race  Huh Had a decent quali but then missed the lights at the start and arrived at T1 2nd to last.

Geoffers managed to pass Riccardo in the early laps but I couldn't see any way of getting past so followed waiting for a mistake.

I had a pit window open message come up so decided to pit because I didn't want to risk a dq to see if I could bluff anyone else into doing the same  devil My pit setting was still on 30 litres from last week (like I really needed more fuel).

Eventually finished the race with 65 litres of fuel remaining and a flashing left front  Roll Eyes

Looked like a good close race up front.....well done all.

Got a decent start and kept to the inside to try and prevent John steaming through in his Mustang, but he just went round the outside and did me before T2 - nice move! That set the pattern for the next 30 minutes with me trying to find a way by, and John keeping it tidy in the corners and driving away on the straights. And then when Geoff caught us the intensity just ramped up another notch, with me suddenly having to defend as well as try and find a way past John.

Made one error into T1 when fully occupied by a mirror full of Volvo, I pushed John into a half spin - sorry for that but we emerged out of the corner in the same order we went into it, so I hope no harm done. I was sure I'd get a chance to pass for the lead at some point, but no, John made no mistakes and drove a super race, Geoff too, and in fact we had a 5-car train going for much of the race until thinning out towards the end.

Congrats John and Geoff, and thanks to all. Great race!

Yes, I guess a setting left over from Sunday's GT3 race. I did kinda wonder whether we'd all get DQ'd for not pitting, so maybe you pulled a masterstroke GT..!

That was fun & really close race.

Made mistakes on every one of my qually laps so only on row 3. Somehow missed GT's Mustang that took root at the start then tailed Riccardo for a few laps until I powered past on the S/F straight. Chased the lead two for several laps without making much impression but with around 10 mins left I started to reel them in, probably John's tyres were past their best. Got alongside Frex a couple of times on the S/F straight & thought I had got past the second time but Frex bumped John into a half spin right in front of me which lost turbo boost & we all resumed in the same order. Made a couple of mistakes on the final lap so finished 4s adrift.

Congrats to John & Frex, great race guys.  clap clap

Now that was a lot of fun  Grin

Back to old mustang for me  Tongue i have been out of sim racing for a while due to work commitments and those have eased up now which gave me an opportunity to give this race a go!

Tried an old setup which generally worked out as I didn't have time to work on anything before hand. So quali was close I think we were all in a second of each other, so signs look good for a close race and that disappoint at all  Grin

As Frex said just managed to use the power of the Mustang to get my nose in front at the start of the race and with the luck of the gods to stay there. All i was trying to do was get enough on the straight to keep Frex behind in the corners as he was way quicker. Couldn't believe my luck that I managed to do this for the whole race. All I can say is what a race and unlucky to Frex I think if you had got in front you would have been gone  Tongue
