Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1190s

[RSms]Andy is chasing FlyBri and as they approach turn 5 Andy moves to the inside under braking to take the low line through the banked corner. Andy carries slightly too much speed, almost holds it but then drifts out into the side of FlyBri sending him over the banking and into the gravel.

Server replay time: 1230s

Pedro is following Jamera for several laps looking for a way past. As they approach Gislaved Pedro leaves his braking late and almost rear ends Jamera, but manages to avoid contact by diving to the inside. As Jamera turns in Pedro cannot slow enough and catches the rear corner of Jamera's car spinning him out.

ROTF..... I would not put that past you !!!   You do still hold the record for the 'Blow your Escort up here' server we ran one night in GTL with autoclutch off and you managed to blow it up before you made it past the S/F line........... Now that was impressive !!!   Grin

Catalog of errors for me, ended up beached on the kerb and quit out as a safe rejoin seemed unlikely  Undecided

Amazing pace by everyone again  Smiley

Woohoo, i survived  taz.

Rich, Mo and I had a "train" in the first half of the race, not that close, but fun enough to watch. After Mo went off, I did everything to keep my car alive. For half of the race O was lifting off with upshifts, very late with downshifts and just let the brakes do the work and letting go off the throttle at the end of the straight just to prevent reaching maximum revs. Man was I driving like a granny like that Grin

Happy with 3rd, I expected to be further down because I can't find my way around this track. I tend to attack the banked corners too fast, but this time I was braking very early and trying to do it smoothly.

Great, great race for me, qualified in 8th and finished 6th.

Awesome pace in qually and the race  Cool

Hats off to Greg for a great drive who frustrated me for the last 20 mins or so, I was willing you to make a mistake Tongue

Any race where I can still see Mo at the end of the race must be considered a great success  Grin thumbup2

Awfull.......
Rich A was taking it wasy into turn 2. I locked up my cold brakes and went off.
Re-joined in 18th place.
Sorry Flyboy.... My fault. Saw you were going slow into the corner. Went for insode line. Carrying a little to much speed. On the apex speed was scrubbed off. But because of marbles you couldn't go high. Then we touched sorry again.
After that everything going well till power came out of the back of my wheel.

Good fun and hard work at the same time.
Just had enough to keep Pops behind me, good drive mate  Tongue, lol.
Bad luck to mark who must have had an off and rejoined behind me, giving me back 5th place.

First of all - let me say, that it is amazing what progress some of the guys made during my prolonged absence since beginning of Season 2. Last time I drove with you it was a piece of cake to qualify within top 5. Now - I was really glad with my 12th. This will give me some motivation to practice now I have a reasonable Internet connection again!

About the race:

Qualified 12th, finished 12th - nothing interesting here, move along...

At T1 i locked my brakes (like a real newbie should! Cheesy),  let everybody drive past me, and rest of the race was just a steady drive back to my qualifying position. I do not yet feel comfortable with the car and sim. Considering this, I was glad with my persistent and quite clean driving. Of course there were some wheel lockups but nothing really dangerous.

Some great fight with Jamera, Picnic and some other guys (well... I do not remember your nicks yet!). There were two contact situations, first of them was probably 50% my fault - sorry for that.

Anyway - it was a great race for me. Interesting from start to finish. Just can't wait for next Tuesday!

Thanks Picnic.

Wow what a great race, amazing times in qual and lots of close racing on track Cool
I qualled in 4th and finished in 4th and had a great race with Ruskus and Rich for the podium spots.
Rich's pace was amazing - constant 1'31 laps for the first half of the race. I could just about keep up, setting PBs as I went and trying to keep the tyres cool at the same time!
Eventually Ruskus fell back a bit and I was wondering whether Rich's tyres or mine would go first, as that was my only hope of getting past.
In fact just as I was thinking about it a 360 rejoined in front of me  Shocked and going off line I went off in the banked left hander and got beeched in the sand. I cooked the tyres getting out and from then on it was tyre warnings from the pits and driving like a granny like Ruskus Wink
Think I rejoined in 6th, managed to get a spot back from Greg on the main straight using the extra grunt in the Porsche. Then bad luck for Mark as he had the dreaded gt3 low speed wobble in the final turn and lost a bunch of places promoting me to 4th, where I had started.
Managed to score my first points for the team this season too so all in all a good result.

Good to see Pedro back too - look forward to racing you again Cool
