That's a very good question Mark. I'll discuss it with the other moderators.

I'd be really disappointed to see this postponed Sad The game will be long finished by the start of the practice session.

I'm sure you can whack a few cups of black coffee down you Mark  Grin

Trust me i have raced sunday enduro races a lot worse for wear (hangover wise) than i am likely to be after an England match(usually a sobering experience) Roll Eyes

I'll pump myself with coffee and stick the fan on full blast in my face during the race ! angel

But.... telling the missus she basically wont see me from 3pm until 11pm is a completely different matter  Hit with a wet fish wub taz

It's more likely to be a problem with people if they go out to watch the match. Difficult to say how many people that may be. Obviously we don't want to run a small field if we can help it.

Extra time and penalties might be a pain too.

It will go ahead unless otherwise stated.

This event has been moved back by a week to July 2nd. A Suzuka test event will be held as a fun race tomorrow night instead.

Well that was a disaster  Sad

Was really looking forward to racing here too. Rushed home like a loon to try and make the race but after a day out in the sun i just couldnt focus properly on screen and really struggled to find any pace and consistency. Went off early in race and smashed the front spoiler off. Knew it would destroy any chance of high position and sadly quit. Couldnt face 80 mins for no reward in this heat.

Hope you all had a good race.

....and a disaster for me too.
I led in the early part thanks to Ruskus and Rich making small mistakes. Ruskus was just too quick though and I cooked my tyres trying to set a fast pace.
Eventually I went wide at Tosa and he slipped through as I was caged in by a backmarker who was letting me through  Cheesy - not sure who it was but genuine thanks for leaving the door open for me, it was my braking mistake that put me out wide behind you and then Ruskus had an easy pass.

After that I had a spin at Minerale and then one more on each of the next 3 laps and at that point I retired. Tyres were shot.
Terrible - I always regret quitting when I've had time to think about it Roll Eyes - the pitstops weren't that far away.

Congrats for the winners Wink

TT made an excellent race. I made a first mistake in the last chicane and TT took first.
After the stop I was able to reduce from 16 to 5 seconds until I put a miserable lap with 2 great mistakes and got back to 15 seconds from TT.

I thought all the Imola tracks where the same but this version in much much bumpier then the 2004 version we use in bSkilled. The setup I had wasn't made for such bumpiness and I had the hardest race I ever remember.

Absolutely knackered here - sooo hot.

Too many spins but my god as Luis said it was bumpy, hard to drive the same line at a corner lap after lap.

Few too many spins to mention but happy with fourth in class.

Great race even thought the engine let go with only 15 mins to go Sad.   had a great scrap with Pops for the first few laps and mananged to get a good run out of the final chicane to outbrake him into the first corner. settled down after that and was looking good for a solid third in class . Tires were brand new still towards the end of both stints.
The track rocks , keeps you very busy and i love the off camber corners hope we use it more.
Cheers Wink

Man this was great. My first real endurance here at Simracing, at my favo track.

Qually was good for me, took pole just before Rich.

The race...well, it started kinda dumb from my side. Eventhough I braked waaaaay early for T1 than I usually do, but I still went off slightly with huge understeer.
The first part was good chasing Mo. But I was more anticipating his moves on track (brake points etc) to prevent a crash, that I couldn't get a rythm and I missed some apex'. Like he said, he went wide at Tosa, so I could sneak on the inside. After that there was a NGT car on the outside. And because I was already on the inside, I was having an advantage in that situation. I was slowly incrasing the gap between Mo and me, but all of a sudden he was gone. So the gap became 13s between Rich and me.

That increased to 25s at some point, untill I spun after Variante Bassa. Putting my car in the right direction meant my rears were 140 degrees Celsius, si I had to slow down the lap afterwards. The car was horrible on the kerbs in that lap.
Rich was close at that point, so I had to push a bit harder again.

After 44 laps I did my stop, mainly because of the fuel, the tyres were still pretty good. Rich overtook me while standing in the pits and the first few laps afterwards he was increasing the gap. After my tyres we on temp again, I starting gaining on him. There was only 30 minutes to go, and he just didn't go in for the pitstop. So I was wondering if he could already done his in the very early part of the race.

Afterall it was an awesome race. Very, VERY fair behaviour of the NGT's being lapped, thumbs up for that thumbup2
