Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 20

Track: Mainz-Finthen Download this

Cars allowed: GT2.0 Porsche 904/4 GTS (Not 904/6 GTS) Download this,
                       GT1.6 Lotus Elan

Drivers are reminded that they are limited to six drives per class. Check your status HERE

Race 1

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (10 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make.
Race: 20:30 (22 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: No

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesdays
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Gonna give this one a pass because the weather is turning (from 27°C to 14°C in two days, yay) and my shortage of sleep then drops on me like a concrete wall. I'll be in no shape to race decently.
Have fun all.

Any ideas why my cars wings are locked? I am with Hristo's Advanced Setup patch and we are with the same car and livery.

Don't think rear wing adjustment is available on either of these two cars Dimitar. Certainly not on mine.

I think it doesn't make any difference. I initially thought it does, but it was a placebo effect.  Roll Eyes No difference in top speed whatsoever. I suspected something is odd when I noticed I can set the wings from 1 up to 20, on both front and rear.

The problem is, it does make a huge difference on some cars like the Renault 5 we raced at Albi and Rouen.

This is weird.  Mine are fixed at 1 too on both cars.

Just tried to join the lobby and get some praccy, but I am unable to reach the server list and I get a message   "general error" Huh?  I have tried with other GTL installs ( just to get as far as the lobby ) but same result !?!?
as far as joining the lobby is concerned, all worked well on Monday with those 'orrible Minis...has anything changed that I should know about?

Just checked the server and some people are in ok.

Reboot PC and try again. If that fails try to re-register.

Or copy your .plr file from Monday night to tonights folder, presuming you have different installs for both.

Copying the .plr did not work, as I tried to use the Monday night install just to access the lobby....and got the same "General Error" message.
tried to re-register and then it informed me that there was an incorrect CD key???

So, I re-entered the CD key and now it appears I can join the hostilities...….quite bizarre!!
