Copying the .plr did not work, as I tried to use the Monday night install just to access the lobby....and got the same "General Error" message.
tried to re-register and then it informed me that there was an incorrect CD key???

So, I re-entered the CD key and now it appears I can join the hostilities...….quite bizarre!!
That indicates an error within your Windows registry which is something YOU definitely don't want to be messing with  no

aaawwwww! really. What could possibly go wrong Tony??  Roll Eyes Grin Grin Grin

Racing tonight was a little painful for me, both physically and mentally. I just could not find the rhythm or feel the grip, so I persevered until things went horrendously wrong and the scenery rushed at me......and then I quit  Undecided

As of lately i can't find my performanse in UKGTL. Having some problems with the driving too often now. And this two races was not different.

At race one i tried to avoid Hristo who was a little bit slow on the start and the car oversteered in someone else's car making him slip. Sory to him, as i wasnt able to catch the car and prevent the contact.  Roll Eyes At t6he end some tyre barriers made me do some errors and at the end i had to get only P6

At race two i was a little bit faster. New problems with the barriers here and one of the hits was fatal for my engine, so i had to retire.

Congrats to Hristo for the wins and to the podium guys for the great job.

Thx for the video Dimitar, I think you don't see all the tires barriers, maybe you have set less quality on video settings?
About wing on setup, maybe Hristo hasn't loaded default setup? Sometime GTL remembers a setup from another car.

The problem with the tyre barriers/columns was that after we knocked them out in practice, they were reset as objects when the sessions switched to Q and R, but without reloading visually, so we basically had invisible tyres at the apexes of corners, until we knocked them out again LOL  Roll Eyes

I could try to fix this by editing the track and removing those tyres altogether, because it was otherwise enjoyable and challenging to drive at.

As for the races, I was lucky to get both wins, with all the mistakes I made. Even though I started on pole in both events, the balance of the car seemed worse in the races, with the setups not working really well. The fear of hitting those invisible tyres affected my confidence and consistency as well, not to mention I did in fact hit them anyway, multiple times.

Daz was incredibly fast and consistent for most of R1, but he gradually started making mistakes near the end and that allowed me to catch up and win. He waited for me after my first mistake at the start of the race, so I tried to return the favor once I got back in front, but unfortunately he had more problems after that and dropped back. Paddler (Manfred?) was very fast too, we had a nice battle until he hit one of those invisible tyres and I couldn't avoid spinning him around, but he managed to recover up to 2nd at the end.

For race 2 I dropped to last place after misjudging T1, then managed to make my way through the field and capitalize on the mistakes of Daz and Geoffers, who opted for the Porsche, so again, I was more lucky than anything. Near the end of the race I was trying to push for fastest lap, but had two big moments, which allowed Geoffers to get very close. Had to just keep it steady on the final lap to take the win.

Watching Dimitar's video right now and I can see it was a similar story for everyone, with lots of spins and hitting those invisible tyres.  Grin

Race one, got punted off into the weeds by Geoffers spinning car at the start after his contact with DD
Then found an occasional Barrel myself, had fun though with the 904, which for me, was about a second slower than the Locust

Race two, found a barrel in lap one and went to the back of the class, again had loods of fun with the Locust
a few offs but mostly good racing.

At least I got a guest appearance in DD's vids  Roll Eyes

I wrote while watching race1 video where not all the barriers were visible by DD, then in race 2 all the barriers were visible again. Now I understand Hristo explanation.
I could see all but nonetheless I hit one of them in the fast chicane and dropped some positions in race 1 and was even lapped. I found the Porsche a bit difficult to drive after race1 but I hadn't time to test the Lotus before race2 so I went on with the Porsche and enjoied some battles at the back with Tony's Lotus.

Yep, sorry about that Sad. Got sideswiped by DD's car at the start & then compounded the situation by flat-shifting into 2nd which slewed the car sideways & got hit by 3 or 4 cars as I fish tailed up the track  Roll Eyes. Sorry to anyone else involved. Rest of race one was a case of making up places before hitting the invisible tyres/barrels & having to do it all again.

Race 2 went much better, chased Daz for several laps with Hristo making up time behind. Hristo had almost caught me when I nearly spun at the final turn which let him through. Next lap Daz did the same allowing Hristo into the lead & me briefly into 2nd but Daz's longer run onto the straight meant he had more speed & retook the place into T1. Managed the remainder of the race without any serious mistakes & with both Daz & Hristo making errors I came in 2nd much closer to Hristo than I deserved.

Congrats to Hristo on both wins & to Daz & Paddler on their podiums.  clap clap clap
