Car restrictions: Four drives maximum per Division. Check your car allowance here

Points: We are recreating the scoring system that was used in the 1983 ETCC. Overall race result, top 6 scored 9-6-4-3-2-1, In each division, top 10 scored 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1.

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make.
Race: 20:40 (35 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: x2
Pit stops required: YES

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesday

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read

No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Is anyone using Teamspeak for GTL races these days? Just wondered if I could share my extensive repertoire of expletives and excuses in real time?

For some reason i don't have the mod once again. I am downloading from Mediafire from the link Tony gave me before but it will be done after 2-3 hours. Maybe someone can upload the cars and tracks in Google Drive?

I had a feeling that things would go badly tonight. Just hate the way the Jag refuses to go around a turn at speed. Hit a barrier and killed the car. Good!

Grats to the podium and the big bangers, I was very tempted to run the BMW, but could not quite get the handling sorted and kept getting a "CUT TRACK" at the chicane ( Tony's police friends were hiding in the trees!!  
Gave a quick try of the Alfa and thought it might be wasted on this track so saved that and opted for the VW at the last minute. The only reason for that was that it promised a single pitstop  

The early laps were fun with Tony and Matt, but Tony decided that crash testing the barriers was more important and Matt objected to paying the fuel price in Austria!!
So I was on my own  

I never expected to win this race or be on the podium, but I would like to see the replay and see where I was lapped twice?? If I passed the pits with other cars doing their stops I did not move up the leaderboard, or have the lap down cancelled?? As I only stopped once, and was still lapping at the same pace on lap 34 as I was on lap 2, I should have been within a lap of the leaders...at least I thought that I would be? Just wonder if the server dropped me a lap somewhere?
