Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Do we have to drive the same car in both races, or can we swap?

Totally forgot, that this one was changed to a two race event  Huh wheelchair

Like the track and like the Ace on this track but I'm simply a second to slow and my driving abilities are a bit too unstable for being competitve...

Grats to Fulvio and the podiums for both races.

With all the extra time confined at home I did actually have a couple of 20 minute sessions on the practice server. I only tried the Ace and the Healey, so did not discover how quick that Merc was....but that became very clear in qualifying for race 1 Shocked.
Even when driving the wheelnuts off the Healey behind the pack of Mercs, I could do nothing about the gap slowly stretching until they were out of sight ...very frustrating but huge fun throwing the Healey at the corners.

I had only tried the Ace as a 2nd car, so not really a decision to make for race 2, but in practice it did feel slightly slower than the Healey I had used in Race 1. Again I was throwing the car into corners and driving like I stole it  Grin until I ran a fraction wide and dropped a rear wheel off the tarmac. Things happened a little quickly after that as the car tried to climb the Armco and succeeded in flipping itself over right on the racing line. I did not have much option but to hit "Esc" as the rest of the field was closing up fast. It was a bit sad to have to leave the race as I was having huge fun.

Keep safe guys and at least we can still enjoy our simracing. Just remember to stay 2 metres from the car in front  Roll Eyes

Enjoyed these races.
Like Clive was not expecting the Merc to be so fast, but stuck with the Little healey and the ac.
Was having a good race in R1 untill I bumped Franky up the bum, and spun us off  Embarrassed
appologies for that...
Got going after waiting and was now last, caught up some and then fell of..... good fun chasing
Franky to the end, and both went over the finish milliseconds apart!
2nd race was not fast enough in the AC to do much, but was fun all the same.

Yes, good fun races on a track that I never seem to go well at.

First race, held 2nd for a few laps but a mistake let Erling through after which I was just not fast enough to keep up with Fulvio & Erling & finished a distant 3rd.

Second race I just made too many mistakes, although had a good battle with Franky for a few laps towards the end, & could only manage 4th place.

Congrats to Fulvio on two excellent victories & to Erling & Franky on their podiums.  clap clap clap

Two unexpectedly good results for me.

As Geoffers mentions, a 2-wheel moment from him allowed me to slip past.  Was surprised to see him fall back after that, but chased Fulvio as hard as I could. Never able to catch him or mount a challenge, so had to settle for 2nd.

Race 2 I owe Franky & Geoffers an apology.  In the first lap kerfuffle, it appears in the replay that a tap from me sent Franky into the back of Geoffers, causing both to run a little wide.  I should have waited, but in the moment I hardly noticed the contact and didn't think I was to blame.  Apologies for that guys.  Had a few secs gap to Geoffers, but tossed it all away with a mistake at the hill crest. After a couple of close laps, Geoffers got past into T1.  Tried to keep him under pressure and got past again in the same spot, when he ran a bit wide.  He was a few secs behind when he suddenly vanished and the gap jumped to 10 secs.  Gap kept increasing for the rest of the race, bu again I couldn't catch Fulvio.

Grats to Fulvio on two solid wins, and to Geoffers & Franky on their podiums.
