not on Eurosport? why not :'(, Is motors TV on sky? Just wont be the same, not being on Eurosport Apparently some German channel got the rights and so Eurosport lost it. Motors TV (on Sky - it's actually a French-based channel) picked up the rights and are doing the whole thing live. They do LMS and ALMS too so it makes sense really. The start and some of the race will be going out on Player too. Audi weren't too happy about Eurosport losing it as it means that their historic maiden diesel win won't be seen by so many people, so they're broadcasting the whole thing live on the net (link on RSC)!

Who's planning on turning up for this? I hope we have a few more runners than we did for Jerez!

Are we going to try a rolling start with the pit limiter? It's going to be a very long pace lap so perhaps after a predetermined point rather than all the way round?
That would be good. I've only just downloaded the track, is there a suitable corner to turn it on? I think it would be wise to say we can go more than 75 down the long straights too on the warmup lap?

Warming up the brakes and tyres is useless in the first part before the Porsche corners. So it would be good if the average speed in warmup lap is a bit higher in that part.
The pit limiter can be applied at the end, by the last 2 chicanes.
I'll probably turn up for this, as long as there are enough people to race with.

Looking forward MJ! As for the setup, I found I just tweaked it a bit from the Monza race. Oooops! Giving secrets away... TT

I'll be there and hope another 35 as well LeMans is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig track with a leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeentghy lap. Even with 35 cars the track will seem quite empty I know a bit of LeMans as I already raced there. For purposes of engaging rpm limiter I think it would be enough to turn it on after the last left corner (the one just before the final two chicanes before entering the start/finish straight). This considering the cars remains fairly close during the lengthy formation lap.

Just tried it for the first time. Using the Viper as a special LeMans thing and it needs 3 stops just to make it on fuel (if not more). Over 16 litres per lap. What GT times are others doing? 4:14 is the only lap I've managed without spinning. I suspect you could easily get under 4 minutes if not near 3:50?

I managed a 3:49 in the Saleen. Not even pushing I'm not going to race that tonight. I think I'll take the Corvette or the F550.
