Replay and ResultsNot sure about using this gaff in a league race. Came in for my first pit stop, having agreed it with the pit radio only to find Rich_A parked in my slot so had to wait 40 secs for him to finish before I could get serviced. GTR does some wierd things sharing garages, Rich was in his trusty 550 while I was in a Morgan. Not even like there was a large turn out Anyway race was ok'ish. I screwed the first right hander at the end of the start/finish straight and got an instant stop / go. Then the silly pit box incident. Then Leuven lapped me and I noticed he kept popping in and out of view. A lap later and I had connection lost - stupid ADSL Max

Yur if I join sharing a pit I leave and rejoin till I get my own.. can tell it's sharing cause the cars merge into each other. Bad bug hope it's fixed in GTR2! Good track, good start with Leuv.. fuel nearly ran out too was surprised to see you go on with only about 19L left but what the heck I thought and carried on too. Exited pit caught an unstable looking Elise which I crashed into quite badly, took splitter off and puntured front right. Pitted forgot to change tyre lol, pitted again and then was ok after that except 5mph slower top speed. Car felt great I got to say.

The only problems i had were two or three spells of 1fps luckily two were on a straight but a third was in the turns and caused real probs. It would only last about 5 seconds then go, so maybe those that ducked out with it (Don? etc) should have hung in there until it disapeared? Drats! maybe so. Though normally when I get the 1fps bug it is a show stopper and won't usually go away (Next time I build a PC it's going to be around an AMD, if only I had a £ for everytime I have been struck with that damned bug!)

Have to say that addon LeMans seemed to bring out all the GTR bugs you can think of, from more 1 fps people than I've seen in ages, to shared pit boxes to warping cars to bad lap counts and so on. Definately not good for championship races.

When I pitted it I got Leuven sharing pit marker with me. For a moment I thought I was able to stop in front of him but I had no space left. I had to reverse again to stay side by side with Leuven waiting him to leave. I lost a terrible amount of time in there as well. I think mo had a good laugh seeing me going backward and forward around Leuven as he was in the pits behind me About the race it self I had a great battle with mo with some changing positions. Even when one of us got more over confident and missed a brake point the other waited to continue a great a race. I've then had a close encounter with a wall that shuttled me in the air, but, I don't know how, landed on four wheels with some damage in rear wing but without compromising the cars handling, allowing to snatch a position to TT. Indeed TT was getting some slow speed in straights, quite visible.

A real shame it appeared to have so many bugs. :'( I loved racing on it for the first time ever. I didnt tire of it all despite the lack of any competition, i suppose because i was learning the track as i went along. To me, it was great, reliving all the times i have seen the Film Le Mans and watching the races on the TV. I might have to get my ass over there next year to watch it for real. What happened to the night time element? I thought the reason we were on 2x rate, meant at some point it would get dark ? I Was looking forward to steaming around with the headlights on. Bit gutted that we wont ever get to have a full grid competitive race here, maybe GTR 2 will get its act together and enable it to happen in the future Good fun all the same, thanks as ever, for hosting and setting it up

There's no dynamic day/night change in GTR like there is in GTL, it's the same throughout the race.

GTR 1 does not have dynamic day/night. It's either day or night. Bit gutted that we wont ever get to have a full grid competitive race here, maybe GTR 2 will get its act together and enable it to happen in the future LeMans is not one of the tracks in GTR2.

About the race it self I had a great battle with mo with some changing positions. Even when one of us got more over confident and missed a brake point the other waited to continue a great a race. Yep a really enjoyeable race Luis - we both had the same pace and strategy. We both left plenty of room for the other and it gave us some great side by side racing and swapping of positions. The GT cars were pitting so often that at one point we were in P1 and 2. Cant believe we went side by side through the ultra fast right kink before Indianapolis When I pitted it I got Leuven sharing pit marker with me. For a moment I thought I was able to stop in front of him but I had no space left. I had to reverse again to stay side by side with Leuven waiting him to leave. I lost a terrible amount of time in there as well. I think mo had a good laugh seeing me going backward and forward around Leuven as he was in the pits behind me I was wondering what happened that I was so far ahead after the pitstop. I couldn't see your problems because of a car that pitted in front of me. As I exited the pits looking in my mirrors there was no sign of you exiting Anyway it was too boring driving round by myself so I slowed up (like you had done earlier) and we had some more close racing. It was shaping up to be a great race but unfortunatley I had to take an emergency call from work so I had to quit - think I left my car on the side of the track for a while too - sorry bot that if it caused yellows for everyone.

So how did you manage to get yourself DQ'd by GTR TrueTom? Lol, Dave, I finished the race, then wanted to punt Whitham doing doughnuts, but was past him. So I turned and went back there. Race was finished, so I said, wth... He escaped though, was out before I could hit him. TT

I wonder if any of the problems were caused by us hacking the daylight Sarthe track out of the full set of files?
