Well that was a frustrating affair for me, think I must have left the track at least 6 times (my own fault all of them). Couldn't find any speed on the straights in the Escort, those Capri's just ate me up (don't know how you managed it Dan?) Had a bit of a ding dong with Gizmo, Flybri, Jams and wills for a while so not all lost all clean stuff. Bloody hell I'm going to have to practice a hell of a lot more :'(

In qually I was behind Greg for my first lap, and his draft made me do a PB . The next lap I improved that to a 1:39.2, which is my PB by over a sec. Dunno where that came from . The race started well I think. I had the limiter on pretty early, to give the field enough time to close up. The first half of the race LeH was following me pretty closely. I could hear he was using autoclutch, so I knew I would win on acceleration. Therefore I didnt risk too much on braking. So I could see him close up every time after the straight. When the backmarkers came we were ripped apart. Talking about backmarkers, all in all it was very good. Some went to the side, some stayed on the line and didn;t do any crazy stuff. There was just one car I had a paintswap with. @ Pero: Shame you weren't there. I was wondering what it was. And I can remember that your card isn't old. If you bought it in the shop you are lucky (if it's close) so you can confront them directly. That's what I dislike about online shopping. The warranty when something gives up the ghost. @ Flybri: I know that feeling. What you might wanna try is start from the back. Might sound drastic, but you can win so much by just driving consistent, and that way the race can be awesome. Some of my best races were by starting from the back.

Bad luck Pero. Very enjoyable race, but hard work. Took the 911 and qualified 7th with a decent time, and finished 4th as a few cars went off. Lapped very consistantly in the mid 1:42s. Had a great battle with JohnnyDee. Knew his Pantera would be a real handful and kept him under pressure, but he held me off for a well deserved podium. The start worked very well again, good idea of Zacari's.

That was hard - drove well for my standards and managed a 144.6! - way slower than the guys at the top who were flying. I need to spend a bit more time practising as the standard is very good here Had some good racing though, the best for a while, although i couldnt get past 14th! I seemed to start loose a bit of grip (or concentration) after lap 13 :'( Great race though - thanks ppl Is anyone uploading a replay??

Great one for me, woohoo!! Best finish and a perfect race!! And a new PB in qual, too. Locutos, I was driving on ice with you in front of me, LOL! Couldn't face the thought of another doofy move. Hate to see you go off, of course, but it was a big relief to me. Then it was me and MichaelB all the way. That was a great drive! For all but a couple laps I had that growling 911 in my ears. Somewhere around lap 16-17 I noticed you were steadily gaining so I cranked up the speed just a bit and got 2 seconds or so, just enough to keep till the end, but you were catching again. Super fun! Grats to Ruskus & LeH! PS -- Yes, finally a good formation lap!! I think I saw something ahead of me out of turn 1, but it was hard to see around Locutos's Pantera in front of me. The actual start was perfect from what I could see, in front and behind. Well done guys! -=> J <=-

Tough going as always in these old beauties. Qualied 10th in close fought qually sesh. Stayed 10th for a while chasing after Dan in his Escort, then found myself in 9th after JonM went off. Stayed 9th for virtually the whole race apart from when JonM claimed it back....only for him to fall off the track again Had great battle with Bernie Lomax who seemed to find more pace in the latter stages...or was i slowing down and we swapped places a few times with some great close racing. All was going well with a 1-2 sec gap back to Bernie when on turn 1 on the very last lap, the Porker seemed to just oddly go out of shape and bounce me about a bit, so i skidded off onto grass and lost 16 seconds and two sodding places...grrr :'( I seem to have a last lap curse so far in this ladder series. Finished in 11th...the lowest i had been the entire race, how annoying Great pace in top 10 as always.

Quite a good race for me in the end. Qualifying was a bit of a disaster and I ended up quite a lot further down the order than I expected but the start was nice and clean and the limiter thing worked well. Strange how (at least from what I saw) each car went pretty much at the line, just by going when the one in front did. My keyboard batteries died just as I finished typing the second of two ADMIN messages about the start and I never got to press Return and send it! Good job I have all the useful controls mapped to things on my wheel! Eased myself into a race pace while a big battle raged ahead before getting onto the back of it, then people started falling off and I gradually eased up to 12th over the middle of the race, though I did have a big moment coming out of Sodra onto the runway, which let Don past, but the Escort is no match for the Capri in a straight line and I was back in front by Startkurven. Had to fight hard to hold him of until he looped it out of Gislaved. After that it was a long slow process of putting in steady laps, lapping Phil and Bill (thanks for making it so easy). Eventually I started to catch Assassino and was flogging the wheels of the old F*rd trying to put some pressure on him without going off. One way or another it worked as he slipped off at Startkurven, leaving me 11th. The pit board said 10th place was 10 seconds ahead and it didn't look like I had any chance of catching whoever was next, especially as the car was starting to snatch the rears under braking. But with just one lap to go I was gobsmacked to see -5 on the board and Mark Jonzo the wrong side of the runway divider on the exit of Sodra. 1th place was mine and despite the tyres being completely shot since the lap before I somehow did enough to keep him behind all the way to the flag! Woo! Well chuffed with a top 10 finish and for once a race with the exciting bits at each end, just the way it should be.

Very unlucky to go off when you did Jonzo, I'd just about given in hope of getting passed at that that point after some great close racing. Can't of been much more than a second between for a good protion of the race. I had the speed to gain on you but once i'd caught up I think your pace increased and we were running very similar lap times.
