Terrible but not so surprising : I didn't know this track, damn it's dangerous, intense, tiring.. My little yellow and blue Surtees managed its best result of the year here with 8th position though.

Does anyone have an idea why sTracker split times look so broken ? There is a logic between the Fab and Vva's ones but Louis' ones are so different.  Huh My owns are quite like Louis, albeit a bit slower.

2 different track versions maybe ? If so, which is the right one ?  Roll Eyes

Edit : Now on the server my split times are the same way as Fab and Vva.. Weird. sTracker issue ?

Got my first laps in tonight. I really recommend you guys get some laps in before Wednesday, it’s a fast and tricky circuit, like Monaco in places but fast  Shocked nice to have yet another new track to race on.

It was Handy to watch vva for a few laps to get me up to speed and get some setup hints.  Smiley Still a second to find somewhere.

This is going to be a race of attrition!
It's a very tricky circuit in a '75, there's a lot of time to be made if you're willing to take risks. But any mistake is practically race ending...
Also how fast is the BRM here?! I used the setup I made at Zandvoort and still can't match it!

Assuming I'm not 'distracted' like last week I'm ready to kick things off later!

Well that lasted about as long as I suspected it might. Took it very easy on outside line into T1 to avoid bunching and still understeered into the bales. Car was hard to drive after that and after a couple of further visits to the armco decided enough was enough. Apologies to anyone behind that might have been caught up in my accidents.....I think I seriously hampered a Lotus at one point  Embarrassed

thanks for sorting that out again Tim. angel

My race was completely destroyed by a weird Rift glitch that decided to go completely awol right as I accelerated off the line at race start. I got a weird half black screen/half track/timer view came up and when it finally sorted itself a few seconds later my car was bouncing off walls, head on into the wall at the layby. Im really sorry if anyone else got caught up in that, no idea if anyone was involved as I couldn't see anything. Just hope nobody got whacked as I wasn't in control. I had to hit return to pit and sit there for a 35 second penalty  Roll Eyes

As soon as I exited the pits, my wheel threw a wobbler and put me into the Armco hard  Angry so something screwy happened to my drivers ( I suspect a flipping oculus update).
I did a few more laps and then my bloody gearstick fell off its mount  Cry I did a quick fix, one more lap and it fell off again. I quit in disgust.
What a crappy way to miss out on the race, a comedy of errors from my hardware  Sad
