Mixed race for me.

Was the first time i had tried taking the Saleen around here and now i remember why i usually drive something else like the Viper !
Got a new GT circuit PB for me at Estoril of 1:30.07 and thought the car set up was pretty good for the race.

Enjoyed good early battle wth Greg whilst running 4th for a long spell, staying glued to his bumper for quite a few laps until he got out of shape at one turn and i had to do a bit of avoiding action to not rear end him,  kept it on track, just lost some time.
Then had a good long run with Aagramm either chasing or being chased until with about 15 mins to go and hadnt dropped below 5th by that point in the race, the notorious rear Saleen tyres started to digest themselves and the car handling got worse and worse.
Then had big avoiding action catching a very slow backmarker in mid turn  Shocked and cooked my tyres trying to avoid a spin, Car was a bag of eels on ice after that and it just decided to weirdly crab off the track at the final turn before pit straight with 10 mins remaining.  Sad
I probably could have rejoined after a while from the gravel, but had lost a few places and was feeling rough from the heat so unfortunately retired. Tyres were shagged and i would have really struggled for last 8 mins or so.

Congrats to the podium finishers and well done Greg on your championship  Cool
