I will be there.

I am still discovering the site, but count on the "elderly" in the sense of giving some fight.

See you in Monaco, since I've already booked the date.

Greetings to all.

Sounds like an issue with your IGOR settings.

I've had situations on Windows 10 when IGOR just stops updating the race list. Then for some reason it started again. I suspect it is something to do with Windows updates.

This is why we have started making sure the IP address is on the race announcement. IP is IGOR proof.

Hi Guys.. n  Gals,

My fault entirely.   but just to let you know I looked a the page linked here... i.e the ones at the top of this page.

"Please check the Season 36 pages for details regarding the rules and the 1967 F1 Junior pages in particular"

hovered my mouse over the Interlagos track flag for the track and it shows the 3rd.

so i wrongly assumed the race had been moved to tonight..  but thats just me being a real old duffer.

OOPPS !!!!!

If that was the case (can't check now because the race result has been imported and it now shows 2nd which will have overwritten the date in the database) then sorry Paul it will have been a typo in the database. We wouldn't move the date of a race (particularly to another day) without publicising it more widely. If you spot another issue like this please raise it somewhere on the forum. It is quite a lot of work setting up a season and typos do happen.

Another place to check the race dates is in the Calendar

Hi Phil.

I will mention it,only becauseyou ask, and as you say it helps to correct odd problems. not cos Im moaning. one can only imagine the work you guys do for us. and its bloody highly appreciated.

but as i say, my fault entirely. I last looked at the server on Saturday not Sunday. I had endured a Sunday of Grand- Children overload..

dont think I would have been at my best anyways LOL. and we dismiss 2 races dont we?  is that correct for this league?

Im really happy to be honest how its going. Not driven GPL online in many years. And it seems to be going well.

Im not as fast as I was but working to get there. Im lucky in as much GPL is like riding a bike. It seems far easier for an old hand to pick up GPL again, rather than having to go through the steep, sorry I meant Vertical learning curve that is our Wonderful Sim.

i think it was Cookie that mentioned his age the other day and just how many years hes been into GPL, I started playing GPL when I worked in IT, with Paul Thurston while he was writing Gem+and I was supplying all the Pc equipment and testing etc,etc with Gary Tall and others. that was in the late 90s.   Im 61 now and retired.that means I was 48-49 when I first played GPL.

that really puts in to perspective how long this Sim has been around. and its been some of the best fun and Comradeship Ive know.  Long may it last.

Normally but not in this case as we are aligning with GPL Brazil. I admit it is a bit hard to find but it is stated on the championship page and also shows up if you click on the "Scoring System" link on the championship table.

I'll turn 60 this year, but a couple of years off retirement. I'll need GPL in retirement to keep me out of the wife's way  wheelchair
