That is if I make it. Got a new PC, set it up today but cannot get my G29 wheel to work. It initialized ok but cannot get Logitech software to detect it, so I cannot setup any FFB. Can get controls to work ok in RRE but FFB is on full & in game FFB is greyed out so cannot change it. May replug old PC back in to race if I can't sort it.

Bit of a longshot but have you updated the Logitech gaming software on your new pc? There used to be a message on the RRE splash screen when starting up the game that the latest version was now required for all Logitech wheels.

I've tried the LGS & the latest G-Hub software, which I don't yet understand. LGS won't detect the wheel, although I'm not sure I downloaded the latest version, and although the wheel shows up on G-Hub I can't find anything relating to FFB in the setup options and it still does not enable the FFB in RRE.

Presume you're on windows 10 with your new pc - were you on win 10 with the old pc too? Have you tried pressing the detect controllers button in RRE on the controller profiles page?

Yes Frex, new PC is win10, old one was win7. Well, I have got LGS to detect the wheel and FFB is no longer greyed out in game, but adjusting FFB in game makes no difference to the wheel, still really hard to turn even with FFB turned off! Have got 'allow game to adjust settings' ticked in LGS (even tried it unticked), so that should allow me to change settings in game, but it doesn't. Yeh, also tried detect controllers which does not seem to do anything. Anyway part way there.

Funny race, without any training , just a few laps offline.
First time on this track for me, but the goal is the checkered flag and not the result.
Race; optimum start but Gengotti is in the best line and get the lead. The mistake arrived just 10 min later, and Frex get the second position without any problem.
3rd place and funny moments whit sir thomas, i decided to stay near him for company.
Grats to Frex and Gengo , fast and solid as usual

Had disappointing evening, I couldn’t match my morning online lap times. In the race I settled down and put in some consistent laps. After Alessandro passed me I was confused by his driving and had a number of offs.

2 races in the the beamer and 2 disasters I'm hoping the car is under powered and that's why I'm losing so much lap time. Pushing too hard to try and keep up with the podium guys just meant the inevitable off was only a matter of time. Sadly I killed the car when it happened so game over

I think you deserved that one Riccardo after driving so well and leading so much of the race. I tried a few passing attempts but you had everything under control until your spin. Sorry to see that (and Alessandro small mistake too), but I'll take the win. Congrats all.

That sounds like maybe Windows is not seeing the device, or possible power cable problem? Does your wheel show up under Windows game controllers, and can you test/calibrate it there? Does the wheel have buttons on it, and if so do they work as expected?

I watched a quick vid on YouTube about setting up a G29 for RRE & it stated that there is also a 64bit executable file in addition to the regular RRE executable which you need to point the LGS at, so maybe that is what I am not doing right. Will check that out later, need to set up other things (GTL!) on the PC which are more pressing now. Congrats on the win Frex.
