Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Server up and ready. I am in Scotland for the next 2 weeks, so will miss all races.
Please can someone log on to the server at 19:45 to start the clock, please don't log on earlier
or the race will start early. I will likely be heading down the M6/M61 at race time, so I can't do anything.

Two very close races, in the second only 1 sec covered the first 4 cars  Shocked

Thoroughly enjoyed both races, very close racing with very little contact, and that was just a bit of rubbing, from what I saw.

As Pete said, two very close races which I wasn't really expecting as I was well off the pace of John & Frex in practice & qually.

First race swapped places a couple of times with Frex for 3rd place while John & Pete did the same just ahead. Unfortunately when I got a run on Pete down the Wellington Straight at about 3/4 distance he moved across, not realising I was there & I ended up on the grass & glanced the barrier, losing touch with the front three. This though, put me on the front row for race two.

Second race, grabbed the lead at the start & had Pete breathing down my neck for the first couple of laps before he was replaced by Frex. Frex was clearly faster but somehow I succeeded in keeping him, Pete & John behind for the whole race, with just 1s covering all 4 of us at the finish.

Congrats to John on race 1 win  clap & to Frex & Pete on their podiums  clap clap & although he had a couple of lonely races, hope Bill enjoyed it too.  thumbup2

See this is why it should be the law to have an NSU race at least once every season - so much fun..! All jostling for position with a move to pass just as likely to end up in losing a place (or two) to those behind. Could have thrown a blanket over the four of us for most of both races, probably a small flannel in fact at times..!

Congrats to the winners John and Geoff. Shout out to Bill also - closer to the pace than usual and staying on the lead lap at such a short track is impressive. Thanks to all.
