I've put the track on the server and it's hosting a practice session. I've turned off all aids on the server execpt for Auto Clutch but do we know if not having Traction Control will stop the Launch Control from working?

Thanks Picnic. I was going to load it on last night when I posted the fun race, but there were people using the GTR server, so didn't want to disturb.

Pretty certain TC and LC are seperate entities. But I'll test that tonight (on my LAN if the server has been switched to GTR) if no-one else does in the meantime.

I've only got autoclutch enabled and launch control is still available; I believe it's a function of the car and not a switchable option.

Just tried this mod with that setup. And my GOD is rF bad. There is no feel whatsoever. I use the same wheel setup as in GTR and GTL but it's just terrible. You steer in with no feedback (not FF) at all. And no control over the back. Have fun with this champ while I uninstall rF and burn it to hell Grin

That's always been my main problem with rF, I thought the positive comments about the mod meant the lack of feel had been sorted  Huh Undecided

It's ok for me, though rF will never feel like a real REAL sim to me, not after GTR. But I like it, I enjoy it for fun, not serious racing.  Smiley

I've found the FF vastly improved since I switched to a DFP (over my old Momo). Standard settings now as I can not be arsed to piss around for now till eternity fiddling with settings ISI should set for you in the first place.

I've always found the opposite to be honest. I love the amount of feedback I get from rF, but get none from GTR which has put me off playing it. GTL was much improved fortunately. Maybe you just need a proper FF setup?

Check this thread out for FFB settings: http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=246978 Although I don;t have a DFP myself, most people seem to swear by BWX232's settings.

I use my settings on RSC excpet lower ouput max to 0.8, gain down to 0.12 [12%] and then in windows controller settings 150% gain, 150% spring and 140% damper.. at first rF felt too heavy and sluggish, now much lighter but still strong feedback.

Physics are exact same as GTR except GTR/GTL will have no doubt more accurate data. Anyhow, I got it installed and Brandshatch, but i'm finding that frames are a little lower than GTL on same settings.

Don't want to confuse things anymore, but the setting change below from RSC made a huge difference for me also.
A personal thing I guess Grin

I have a Driving Force Pro and after hours of research when rFactor first came out, the one setting that made all the difference to me was to change :

FFB steer force input max="-11500.00000" (this is negative for Logitechs)

to

FFB steer force input max="-6500.00000"

I got the best FF EVAR Tongue Way better than SimBin's stuff that only tells me that the suspension is going up and down.
