Are there performances differences between the cars or can they all do the same laptimes?

Based on my limited TV viewing of them in years past I'd expect them to be pretty even, but that means nothing for some mod cars  Cheesy

The cars in the sim all have the same physics, the ford just looks better than the holden and datsun  Wink

Just a suggestion to use this version of the track

https://assettocorsa.club/mods/tracks/melbourne-grand-prix-circuit.html

It's significantly larger, and I've ran it in the past and there are zero complaints on it. Mesh is good, track looks good.

I'll give the one posted here a quick spin tomorrow if its decent I'll race, if its Atari I'll pass.

I may not make this as I have a birthday to attend. Hopefully will though as I need to get a 'nice' setup made that makes the new mod version fun again. Last time we ran it I didn't rate it over the previous version Sad

Don't forget to get some practice in for tonights race! you need to get a few laps under your belt to get on top of these beasts!

Also make sure you have the latest version of the V8 mod installed

Sorry about the nudge on the bumper at T1. I think it was Matt who I ran into. Supose it hampered me the most and luckily we could both continue. Only I noticed someone disconnect after a 20 minutes or so. Was that you Matt?
Great pace by the flying Finns and good to see Frex back in the mix. thumbup1

I still have a hard time liking the new physics update. But then again I should probably put more effort in the setup, as the old settings are not very good anymore. Next up is Barbagallo. Great track and a mod properly done!

I was being cautious on cold tyres into T1, didn't matter no damage done apparently.
I have always struggled with steering in AC, I had done some practice with a G25 at
a different location, and was fine, and managed 2.00, but when I got home and tried my
Thrustmaster which has more turn I couldn't get it to have the same steering sensitivity
I was having to twirl the wheel much further, and not being used to that I kept failing
to get round corners properly, was too much like masochism so I left, was nothing you had done.

I have the rotation at max 11xx deg, the gamma isn't at zero but is low.
I tried changing the deg rotation after the race, and it didn't feel to be
doing much if anything wherever I put the slider.

I had similar issues with my DFGT. Since I run it with a LUT file for FFB this game makes more sense to me. Maybe you can try that route for the Logitech?

I enjoyed that race. Kept it consistent and out of the barriers, then after the pitstops I found myself in 2nd position, not sure what happened to the people in front. I saw someone in my mirrors with about 4 laps to go but they disappeared a lap later so I cruised the last couple of laps.

I am finding that I lock up the front tyres a lot less now, not sure whether this is to do with the latest update of the mod or just me getting better at driving these cars
