Season 36 is a joint series between GPL Brazil and UKGPL. This post is for the Senior division.

Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos, is in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It is named after Brazilian Formula One driver Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. It has hosted the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix since 1973.  The race won by defending Formula One World Champion and São Paulo local Emerson Fittipaldi. Fittipaldi won the race again the following year in bad weather and Brazilian driver José Carlos Pace won his only race at Interlagos in 1975.

There are a few different version of this track available, please use the 1970 version, as per the link below.

The best thing I like about Interlagos race today is that I get to take a shower early.

Hate the place.  Always have, do now, always will.

totally my fault, I'm so sorry, doni, I ruined your career, I feel very bad about it.
I deserve a penalty and if there isn't, in the next race I started last, I punish myself, I don't usually make those mistakes.
my god, I broke my sunday, for that, ........feel so bad, buddy  hang

I like this track as it´s tricky and always needs clean driving to keep tyre-temperatur low. And as Lotus is a fast car, I had no probs bringing home that one..

My big comiserations go to Johnny and Greg -both had an unexpected DISCO as I saw later on replay Sad
Congrats to lucky Tristan comming back from the barrier and grabing P2 and Fulvio for P3. Also everybody who manages to finish!

Hopefully see you at Willow Springs!

Relax, Ricky(Enrique).  Poo happens.  I haven't seen the server replay cap posted as yet to view but I can tell you that I may have backed off the throttle a touch early for Curva do Sol as I wasn't sure where Dulima directly ahead of me would start to slow.  Perhaps I was overly cautious in that as I didn't want to ass-pound him.  From my replay cap, he gets a great view of the shunt in his mirrors.  Smiley

No paperwork will be filed against you, amigo, and you shouldn't feel 100% guilty by any means.

I rather badly slagged Interlagos in my post above more due to the race result than any true feelings for it.

I have a serious problem with the memory card, and when it fails the pc freezes, it happened on the horseshoe curve, unfortunately.
But I can't complain about luck, I've had a lot during the last two seasons, I can't forget that.
In the race I was very happy to have a good performance in front of my fans, a good performance would be expected in Brazil, so, following the superb Tim for a short time at the start of the race was something considerable, it was very fun and tiring, I would not be able to follow with that rhythm for a long time.
Of course, Farina's problems at the beginning delayed the other top drivers, Greg and Tristan, that gave me some additional advantage until the freeze.
Congratulations to the podium !!! Tim will conquer all traffics and bonuses, somebody do something !!!!!!

Congrats Tim, Tristan, and Fulvio!

Damn! I think every time I've driven the Eagle with UKGPL, I've had a screen freeze, twice at Spa67 and now at Interlagos. I wasn't well prepared but I felt fine with my position. I thought the Eagle would give me a decent finish and allow me to pass anything but another Eagle or Lotus. It was starting to get interesting when I discoed. If I didn't increase my speed soon Tristan would have caught me. I may have been  able to do that since I did 2:49.73 while doing a qualifying stint after being discoed.

After this I think I need to abandon the Eagle for any 60fps races. That sucks since I like to drive it occasionally.

Take care guys and thanks for the racing.

Just in case anyone is unsure, the bonus points for pole position and fastest lap will be added when the race is moderated. The mechanism for adding the points is the same one we use for penalties so we can't add the points until the moderation is completed.

I couldn't find it either.

Thanks to whoever (Phil?) imported the race result. I didn't get home until very late last night.
