I did a couple of practice laps. Not able to do the laptimes from 2018 anymore.
Anyhow, this is still a very good track for racing touring cars on. Should be fun.  Smiley

Enjoyed my time at Barbagallo again. The car was behaving much better as to the last outing. As FMG seemed to have internet troubles, we mortals had a shot at the top step of the podium.
I was being tail gated for the first half of the race by our two Finns. It looked like their cars where able to be later on the brakes, so I was a little worried to suffer in the last corner. Luckely i could keep them at bay on the straights. After the pitstops I found myself alone in front and was able to ease it home for the win.  thumbup2

Next up is Eastern Creek. Last time I didn't got the setup quite right, so I am hoping for a better race this time.
Sorry to see this mini-series isn't more popular though. I do like racing these cars. Thanks to all who turned up.

I quite like this particular breed of masochism... but I was 2 secs slower than last time we were here, where others were not  Huh
was following ok, when I gave it too much and went into a fence at speed, full red front end, seemed to understeer even more
off onto the grass, was now so far behind with a crippled car, so left.

Good drive there Stef, I gotta slowdown at the end cause Nissan was real drinker. There cars are great so i've been wonderin' same thing, where's everyone...stupid & really boring GT's seems to bring more crowd to grid than these beasts.

I always enjoy Barbagallo, its a nice flowing little track. I was further off the pace than at the last round but managed some consistent lap times and kept it off the dirt! Eastern Creek next up, a wild ride!

P.S. I have put some onboard footage on to our facebook page, feel free to 'like' it.

I got dumped to the pits just before the start, not sure why? Anyway, the rolling start allowed me to catch up with the back of the pack by the end of the first lap. Matt let me by, had a battle with Stephen for a lap or two, and then didn't see anyone until Jari came out of the pits right in front of me towards the end. I guess either he hadn't changed tyres or had damage, because his car looked a handful and easy to pass. Finished a long way behind Stefan and Kimi though, congrats.
