All these races, have had no laps at Silverstone at all in this car. What sort of times should we be expecting to do does anyone know? Ive been doing high 1.34s, but i only downloaded yesterday so only had little time in car , should be fun , entering the Beckets complex is mega!!!

Great setup my-a$$ ! 1.31.7 in quali, ok. Was trying so hard - Jon beat my every PB - that I forgot about making a race setup. Was positive soft rears wouldn't last 10 laps so I tried with hards in warmup. Total overstear and in a few minutes couldn't be done better. Was doing 1.34 in race and after 3rd spin had enough of humiliation. Good mod anyway, just need some more time with it. I'm for the championship. TT

My shortest race ever! Think I made it 10 yards before the launch control cut out and put me in a wall.

Pb in quali for me , could have gone quicker only thought to put soft tires on right towards the end . had agreat jump of the start but had know where to go so had to jump off the throttle which then cut the launch control , stepped pack on the gas and spun straight into the wall and broke my front wing. Limped back to the pits , after that was trying too hard and kept spinning. Hope we have some more of these , think if we can get bigger grids the racing will awesome!! Grats to Shark you really had to work for your money in that one!

Once you know how to use the Launch Control is works like a dream. I zoomed past Jon on the start line as he smoke his rears and I whooshed past at full pelt then held it for the remainder of the race to win pretty much through a process of elimination. Softs did not last 10 laps. The rears were totally shagged at about 8 laps. My wear indicator was half down and the tyres were too hot and I only had 1 spin. Think soft fronts hard rears was probably better, but anyway, will know for next time. Just too hot now though, I need to go off an cool down.

I think someone didn't get off the line on the front row. Whoever was infront of me swerved around, and I think I lifted off the throttle switching off the LC. I can see why alot of you like this mod though, it seems to encompass everything I hated from GTR1;)

I now understand why the launch control didn't work for me - my throttle has been getting progessively worse and has been spiking more and more; I guess it must've spiked off and on again, disengaging the LC and then spinning me off. After a couple of laps I had no throttle pedal at all for a few seconds, then it came back. Then it died permanently. Rebooted to no avail, eventually took the pedals apart again, reseated everything, blew any dust out, and put it back together again. Surprise surprise it seems to be working okay again now, but it was too late and everyone but Shark and Don had gone to bed. :'( I'd really like to buy myself a set of the ECCI pedals with pressure sensitive brake, but I can't bring myself to spend 300 quid on a set of pedals which will probably still only last two or three years.

Nice qually battle anyway mate.

Shame to miss this one, catch you next time. I'd really like to buy myself a set of the ECCI pedals with pressure sensitive brake, but I can't bring myself to spend 300 quid on a set of pedals which will probably still only last two or three years. Good quali pedals should last beyond that, ask PaulH. Although with import tax etc etc the cost might be nearer 400?

I went for the hard tyres option, after last weeks races I was still 4 secs or so off the pace but it allowed me to bing it home 3rd. Thanks to TT for the set up also.

Not that I recall. I would already have been in 2nd anyway. That last corner was really tricky once the rears had gone to hot and worn down too. I think someone didn't get off the line on the front row. Whoever was infront of me swerved around, and I think I lifted off the throttle switching off the LC. I can see why alot of you like this mod though, it seems to encompass everything I hated from GTR1;)
That was JonM and it was me swerving round his very animated but not actually moving forward car. Once everyone learns how to use Launch Control it makes the starts really good.
