I’m away at the moment so can’t check but according to the 1975 track map, it’s this layout

Yep, first year it was used.

Well, you're right guys, my source was incomplete. Need to re-think my setup now.. Lips Sealed

Didn't know it was this year and at this place that Mark Donohue got killed sadly.

Thanks to MJ and vva_avv for the pointers this evening, results much better, if not threatening for pole position just yet. Was not finding it pleasant early on...

must say when i watched you onboard briefly Les, after my setup suggestions that i was using, the car looked terrible to drive like it had too-sharp steering inputs to make it see-saw side to side  Huh Are you running correct steering rotation? to me it looked like the steering was way too sensitive. If i get a spare ten minutes this evening i'll take that car for a drive with my own setup for comparison.

Must say i do like this track for historics racing, always feels right  Smiley  mighty fast on the whole but with tricky technical corners in some parts.

I think my (T300RS) steering rotation is set to the maximum, but I'll check. Vva_avv ran a few laps in the March after you left and thought it felt similar to the Tyrell. I made a few more changes and did a 1:41 although still with wings at 7 7, race fuel and hard tyres

assume it should be set to 900degs rotation.  7-7 wing here is way too much, its a low downforce circuit really with the proviso of the tricky downhill cambered corners. With a light front and heavy rear you just dont need that much rear wing.

I'll give it another go at 6/5 and see how it goes, now that in general it seems more manageable. Early on, as soon as the back end stepped out, I was finding it impossible to correct, either to hold the slide, or stop it snapping  in the other direction

I should think about lower it down to 900° too. Does anyone know how much it actually was on those single seaters ?

Set 900° and the game will use the degrees necessary for the car in question.

Just for info, the F1s during '70 had around 450°-500°. Lotus 49 ('67) had 540°.

That's what I thought, set to the max in the thrustmaster control panel, then in content manager select the steering axis option to 'auto-adjust scale to match car's steering lock'. Assuming there's a config for the car itself... No idea where that might be
