I see the next RRE special event will feature the NSU TTS. I though, have a problem, as it is on a Wednesday which is GTL night, so should I enter or not. Huh

Had a quick practice at the hillclimb qualifying track, which I have never tried before, & it seems unlikely I would be able to learn it enough to set a representative time. So it is unlikely I will enter this event, a shame as I really enjoy the NSU.

I had a go at the hillclimb to, first time up for me as well. I was under 7 mins with a spin and a couple of reasonable size offs but I'll not get close the the low 6 mins that the leaderboard showed when I looked. Plus they want 200 VRP to enter so I'll not bother.

Yes a bit of a cheek to ask you to pay to enter, the Shanghai event was the same, works out at about £1.40 I seem to remember.

I recorded 6.55 on the only run I attempted, didn't have any spins but came to a stop against the wall a couple of times Roll Eyes

I am down to 6:37 but am still lifting where I don't need to at various places, so could get another 10 secs off I expect.
To get into the top 30 I would need to get under 6:20  Shocked which is unlikely to happen....

You don't need to make the top 30 to get a race, everyone who sets a leaderboard time will be invited & there will be enough servers so that all those that accept will get a race. John got into Server 1 for Shanghai with 48th on the leaderboard.

I realise there are multiple servers, I assumed you had to get into the top 30. I guess some bother
so the splits are lower. Not certain I want to do the event, just fancied some hillclimb challenge
after Nappe's event.

I noticed this afternoon that many of our Italian friends are all well within the top 30 fastest qualifying times, with Gavino the fastest overall, well done Gavino. I Am Not Worthy

I am currently on 6.18 & just outside the top 50. Still don't know the track too well, but keep making mistakes in the very first section which I do know well !  Roll Eyes

I have an invite to the WTCC events. I am in the 4th group, being one of the slower ones  Roll Eyes

A new multiplayer qualifying competition has just started, at Silverstone GP. Main event is for FRX17 cars with a support event for F3 cars with the races on Friday August 7th. Currently 2nd in the F3 times, but over 2s slower than the fastest guy!  Shocked F3 cars are quite fun to drive once you get used to how fast they can go around corners.

Also subscribed me for the F3 event, currently P11 (5.x sec behind). I will be the pay driver for SROUK, next to Geoff Grin

Matt & Birger (& anyone else) do you want to try my setup for the F3 car?

Sure. I have my own setup, but it was only a quick fiddle to create something I could drive

OK guys here is a link to the F3 setup file, I think I have set it to be downloadable, if not please shout.

Better mention that you need to buy a car & pay to enter the qualifying leaderboard, not free like the recent BTCC races.
