On middle of lap 10, Leon rearended Bastian.
Bastian made no mistake and Leon was in full control.
At this place the incident could have been easily avoided by Leon.

OK,
I will set a Pro short race  tonight at the usual time Wink
I am OK with Pro settings but as this is a fun race with a small grid intermediate  might be better.

How deadly such a full gasoline tank can be. Yesterday in the training race I had completely refuelled the Brabham and I had no chance to keep up. Grin

You are correct Josefine, the way that a GPL car behaves when you fill the gas tank can make a big difference. I always test my car with race fuel during qualifying to make sure that I know how the extra weight will affect it. For me, it is more important that I have a good race setup than a fast qualifying time.
Also, if you have not driven your car with heavy fuel and cold tyres, the first lap can be very difficult  Shocked, so ALWAYS drive 2-3 laps with your race setup before the start, then you know what is going to happen when you press the brake pedal at T1 on the first lap.  Wink

That's right. The braking distance is getting longer and at the Oval you don't have a chance to stay on... Hopefully it will work out better tonight. Cool

Disaster! Crashed out on lap 2 trying to go around the outside of Billy on the big banking. We were both struggling to keep our Ferraris pointed in right direction and we both moved towards each other at the same time. I think there was a bit of warp contact because I flew into the wall. Glad you could continue Bill. I'll leave a very wide birth when trying to pass there in future!

Big sorry to Andreas and Bastian. Were two stupid actions of mine. On both occasions I couldn't brake fast enough.

I then parked my car because I didn't think it was fair to drive even further after the two accidents.

Only lasted another lap. I could not get used to braking in the tow. My car span off, didn't hit anything solid but the back end became unmanageable.

I was happy until lap 21 but at the start of lap 22 the valve and the engine says bye bye.
Some point but the series of not finished races continue.

Very very nice race for me.
During almost the 25 laps it was a great battle with Josefine, Bastian, Andreas and Fulvio.
My BT19 was slow on the banking but good and the twisty parts and thanks to the slipstream I could follow Fulvio and Andreas until the end.

Andreas !!!! Did you see what you did to my car on the first braking point of the first lap HuhHuh   Grin
It's a miracle, my car did a dobble axel in the air and was enable to continue until the end with no damage !

Not a bad race, didnt get involved in any racing but was reasonably steady at the back.

Finished at least.   I did blow an engine in practice, which seemed unusual as ive always found the Honda pretty reliable.
so I ramped up the top two gears to try and keep the revs down for the long straights.

engine stayed together , never really even got hot. temps well under 200 deg.  but sadly no real top end, just wouldnt pull the tall gearing.

but again, did finish so some much needed points for the Pilot and Blue Moose Racing.

hope everyone else had a good race.   Sorry to hear about another engine problem Franceso.

Yeah, I am sorry mate. Josefine had a wobble and I had to react, unfortunately I hit you. Even after that you passed me.  Grin Sorry again. After all there was some good racing and fighting with you and Fulvio.

CU in Brands.

Thanks Phil.
But there are still 5 races and I have to remove my 2 worst results.
