... Andreas !!!! Did you see what you did to my car on the first braking point of the first lap ? It's a miracle, my car did a dobble axel in the air and was enable to continue until the end with no damage ! Yeah, I am sorry mate. Josefine had a wobble and I had to react, unfortunately I hit you. Even after that you passed me. Sorry again. After all there was some good racing and fighting with you and Fulvio. CU in Brands. I was very angry against me after what I did last season at Ste Jovite with your car. Now, I feel better. it's 1-1

Grats to the podium and all finishers. A little disappointed to get punted out at T1, especially after the "be careful at T1" message on the grid. I was being as careful as I could and resisted the opportunity to draft past the car in front on the run around the first banked section. and even stayed wide and at a safe distance in the heavy braking zone. But I was poked from behind and sent off across the grass. That would not have been too bad. except that I could not avoid the concrete wall and a front wheel vanished!! I had a nice setup for the Honda, which appeared to be quite a popular choice last night. are there potential converts to the Waza clan out there?? lol. Qually was done on race fuel so I knew that I had a pace that should keep me in touch with the leaders. This race was never going to be won on the first lap with all of the slipstream available, and would probably be decided by a mistake/breakdown amongst the leading group at some point.
Is there any appetite for more " non championship races " during the coming months of social isolation? If we are all sitting at home and need some entertainment, perhaps we could stage a few open races on IGOR? Maybe with mods that we do not use very often? The 67 F2 cars, the Thundercars or the Can Ams, or even a Coronavirus Cup series of 65. 66 and 67 races???
BTW after my early exit from Daytona last night I dropped onto the GTL practice server and found myself alongside Hristo Itchov!!!! Maybe we will see some of the old guard returning to GPL for some entertainment???

Not the Thunder,i'm not friend of the fictions. For sure ione of my favorite is the Can Ams 66 but also the 67 F2. In this days i wait the GPL races ,is the only moment to"exit" from the home.

You need no PW the server is open,
We use 60fpsV1, so I hope nobody will join with 36fps....
When there are flashes every 3 - 5 seconds you are with 36fps!

As mentioned in the post there was a quickly organised fun race on Monday in the 66 cars at Daytona. I had a much better result than Tuesday. There were about 9 starters. I think Clives suggestion for some fun races might be a good idea. I am working from home about 10 hours a day because its busy so some gpl in the evening would be a welcome distraction. We can publish a schedule with 30 mins equally & a short race starting at 9pm uk time. I will discuss with the mod team.
