Apologies for not getting this up sooner, I've been trying to come up with something that would require the minimum of practice time and setup work as I know that most of this site will be concentrating on the GTLegends series every other week Wink

I think I have something - and it's fairly appropriate for April fools day Grin
A collection of big heavy sports cars thrashing around the twisty Okayama Piper circuit for 30 minutes..

Your choice of steads is as follows:

Ford Mustang (2015)
Nissan 370Z
Toyota MkIV Supra

All cars lap to within 10ths of a second, have matched tire degradation (by this I mean the same compound - weight and underlying chassis tendencies will make certain tires wear faster on certain cars Wink ), but each has a clear advantage over the other 2 if you can find it.
So pick your favorite and let battle commence!

Totally unmatched. It took hours to find 3 cars that actually had the same pace!

I do like the Alfieri though, it's basically a drift car Cool

Yeah, I'll do interesting stuff on weeks where everyone has time to practice. And something that's more 'pick up' for the remainder.

If this week and next week go to plan I should be ready to run a first season then  Smiley

A fun reminder that the clocks have changed in the UK - that means for many of you this race is now an hour earlier!

Nice race!

I had a good start but since I didn't have the pace of the first 4 in front I didn't hold that long. The rest was cruising.

The track was I think a bit too short for this cars but goods for drifting and fun indeed.

cheers

What a mess that was.. Sometimes I forget I'm not in RaceRoom where the favoured start procedure is to bring up the clutch before the lights turn green. Must have been on auto-pilot and did it here and of course got an immediate drive-through penalty for jumping the start..  Roll Eyes

Worse than that though I made a hash of attempting to pass Syd. Twice. Damn. Very sorry Syd, my fault entirely, would have dq'd myself if it was a points event.

Hopefully better things next time. Congrats podium.

Thanks for that!
All done.

While I remember - here's my excuse for coming 2nd.
In the final 5 minutes I think a 2CV might have been able to pass me Cheesy
The central bars are tire wear - the left rear was down to the cords with 5 minutes to go as I lean on it so much during the lap. Still amazed it didn't pop!
