Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 222s

The field is coming ontp the start/finish straight with the pit limiter engaged while the back of the field is still slowing down to pit limiter speed.

Gerald (silver53) is going a little bit too fast and has to brake hard. Edza tries to avoid contact with Gerald but unfortunately it's too late and Gerald gets pushed into Don1.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 3735s

Leuven is gaining fast on Nick Phillips as they are approaching the first corner. Leuven is still more than 50 meters behind when Nick starts turning into the chicane. Leuven carries a lot more speed and is approaching the corner in a different way. There is contact between the two and Nick spins.

  • LEUVENpenalty — rear-ending Nick Phillips — 2 places lost

Endurance Championship - Season 3, Round 8b at Monza

This event replaces the abandoned race at Suzuka.

Date: Sunday 20th August

Practice 1: 8:00pm (20 mins)
Practice 2: 8:20pm (10 mins)
Qual 2: 8:30pm (30 mins)
Warmup: 9:00pm (2 mins)
Race: 9:02pm (80 mins)

Cars allowed: Those classed as GT or NGT, according to each driver's registered class. A list of which cars are in which class can be found here. Seat Toledo, Lotus Elise, BMW Z3M and Porsche GT3 Cup are not permitted.
Weather: Will be decided just before the race based on real-world weather.
Pit Stops: All drivers must make a minimum of one pit stop. This must involve entering the pit lane at the speed limit, and coming to a complete standstill in the designated pit box. Tyres do not have to be changed and no fuel has to be added. You cannot take your mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Server: UKGTR Endurance S3
Password: Server Password is shown in the Password Board and is available to the relevant registered drivers. Unregistered drivers should post in this thread if they wish to compete.

Notes:
(1) Full-time drivers should aim to arrive during Practice 1.
(2) Reserve drivers should not connect to the server until Practice 2.
(3) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(4) See UKGTR Season 3 Info for general Endurance Season 3 info.
(5) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules
(6) The season will be run using a UKGTR carpack v1.5 which will need to be installed prior to racing. Details of this pack can be found here.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to make this one, I'd planned on the season ending yesterday.

Yeah, I know it's not ideal. Rock, hard place, etc.

Yeah, I understand, I'm not complaining Smiley

I'm going to try my hardest to be there, there's no way I'm going to let Jonzo overtake me in the standings if humanly possible Grin

What a turn out  Shocked
Suzuka and backup lobby really don't go well with each other Grin

I wasn't able to attend Suzuka as I'm without internet at home since Friday. I'm without net signal so I called the phone line company and they told me they're updating the lines and chose middle of August to do it. Not bad timing at all unless it stopped me of being able to join last Sunday Sad

I'm going on holidays tomorrow and only came back September 4th, so I wont be at Monza's finale.

If I get back from visiting parents in time and am not completely shattered then I'll be there, although I really hate Monza so really not enthused to turn up at all to race Monza for the 3rd time in quick succession.  Sad I was hoping that was the last time I would load up GTR till GTR 2 came out tbh.

You could try giving the security services a tip-off.  Shocked

I was hoping to run at Brno, as Dave signed me up for reserve (Thanks  thumbup1) but whilst practicing as-well as learning how to drive with my new pedals(  lol lol lol new pedals) they failed and I couldn't race, similar thing happened heading towards Suzuka, I had a new board on its way which when it turned up it made no difference, so the practice and race itself went out of the window again.
Now I should be getting some new pots...........yes you can stop laughing now...........Ill be getting some new pots and HOPEFULLY I will be able to get some laps on the dam things without them braking.
So if it is still possible and nobody thinks it is unfair then I would like to race this event (3rd time lucky) Thankfully the championship has already been decided so I wouldn't mess things up too much.  Smiley

Ok, Monza, though...

The fact is, I'm a bit "overdriven" atm, which showed in TPG today (in Monza). I was very slow, prolly lack of motivation, or some such. Was faster in UKGTR NGT Sprint with the same setup...

I'll race here to properly finish the season and kiss GTR goodbye.  Smiley

Bring on GTR2!
