Just did a few laps in the 911 at Oschersleben and saw most of the track backwards. Looking forward (lol) to this event. I bet kurt and I are the only guys who can pronounce the track s name. Will listen with great interest to Dimitar’s running commentary.
I think many of us are going to do a lot of practice this week.

Just spotted that the only other time a Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 raced here in UKGTL, a fastest time of 1:41.191 was achieved.

My own PB is 1:42.2

Will  alien's crack 1:38?

No doubt; my own pb presently (and not likely to improve), is 1:39.8

Ha ha, Google and all that ... I underestimated you guys. I am from the stone age of old schoolbooks, strict teachers etc. Beaten by modern common knowledge, wondeful evolution!
and please...stop posting these ridiculous laptimes, I m shrinking by an inch at every new pb. But fortunately there is this lethal corner combo right after the start. devil

Sorry, Dan, but you've touched on a pet peeve of mine. I'm over 50 and Belgian-Flemish, which, with the Netherlands to the north, the UK just over that little ditch, Brussels, Wallonia and France a stonethrow away and Germany half a day driving to the east (not to mention the occasional visit from them *cough*), it was very common to speak at least these four languages in Flanders. I've been in business meetings where they were spoken simultaneously. Granted, our youth is -in my very humble opinion of course- catastrophic in that regard but the old(er) guard was all about school books and (often too) strict (because Catholic) teachers too.

Admittedly I'm way better in writing foreign languages than I am in speaking them. My last girlfriend was French of Hungarian descent but living in Germany (how's that for European unification  Grin) and I spent a lot of time in Berlin back then. Die Berliner often hadn't a clue what I was talking about even if what I said was grammatically entirely correct. Come to think of it, that even happened in the UK, viz. Somerset, lol.

Anyway: huge  offtopic

Dom you're my hero. when it comes to being international the Belgians certainly have it with three native languages ,Flemish, French and German near the German border, plus the fact that a great part of the population speaks English too. I feel I'd better get my coat.... surrender

No tentacles last time I checked, but below 38s is do-able, yes..... Wink

I will happily upload the setup used to the online server if any one would like it.
