I can confirm that these are only required on the server.
Excellent, thanks Server Bossman.

Are the Demon and the Proton's the same class, as they both have different engine stats? And why is the ComptUSA Demon car more expensive than the others? Is that one better, and if so, can it be disallowed? Just trying to clear things up. I'm sticking with team playboy, waaaay too much fun there

They're in the same class but have different strengths. The README from the mod I think explains the differences, and also talks about the third car which will be released at the end of the year (hopefully). Dunno why one is more expensive, I think all Protons are the same, the Demons likewise.

Shark, the Fozz of rFactor. Shark's my arch enemy Dunno why one is more expensive, I think all Protons are the same, the Demons likewise.
Yes but the Demon is the slightly faster car on any track that is slightly high speed, It's also easier to drive which should make it the clear favourite around Watkins. Has this combination actually been ran yet, the Protons and Demon's are like poo in fast banked corners (tried Daytona Road & AF-RF1) and thier setup is just _slightly_ too restrictive to sort it out. Watkins may not be fast enough for this to happen tho.

SRou is missing two major forms of circuit racing, open wheelers and touring cars. We already know the ASRWC cars are good; I'm hoping to cover the latter with the Octavia mod in a future fun race, perhaps to tide us over until the WTCC game arrives. Or we may hate them and not bother. We'll never know unless we try. Hopefully V8's or NFR's conversion thingy will be out soon then, as I'm not really a fan of either of those (tho I have to admit the Octavia one is well done).

I'm gonna race in this, do you fancy inviting other GRC members along too, obviously racing to your rules etc (I'll add it to the announcment in the GRC forum, if it happens)

Cool, oh BTW if you were planning on testing the new flag stuff, it's better but it still messes up _far_ too often to be usable.

So, will anyone take a Porsche? Proton flies here and I'm up for some speed. Maybe I'll have a chance to lap Pigies for a change, lol TT

I wanted to go with the Proto as well, but if everybody takes it, I might go for the PCC.
I've added a poll to get some idea of numbers and choices. I won't hold anyone to their vote though.
