That was frustrating. Got Misnoimis loading constantly, and he showed as in a mini... left redownloaded the zip, deleted the bad cars, joined. still loading misnoimis, and no sound so downloaded to the Nappe install which is a fresh one, and now joined ok, but no setup and the car was not fun, spun twice, so quit

Results and replay now posted.
Can Paddler and Nappe1 please fill in their Profile/Driver Details/Country, then we can give you a little flag in the results.
NOTE: Results now corrected to show Misnoimis in a 2.8l car and not 3.0l as previously stated.

Oh, I see from the results that I was the only one in a 2.8. I just randomly chose #8, not knowing that anything other than the skins were different. That's why I was so easy to pass on the straights. If there are other hidden differences between the cars in a one car series, such as big wings, then I think that those differences should be known to all.
Anyway, I enjoyed my race. Always someone nearby. People coming back through after offs, especially Rog, who repeatedly teased me for much of the race.

Not much for me to say about this race that is good. It should have been fun but first a problem with the car #9 that I had chosen and then my gear change which seemed to intermittently be selecting natural instead of third on change downs which led to me going wide and clipping the Armco quite often during the race. It had happened a couple of times in practice and qually. I didn’t know when the gear would fail to engage so tried to use the brakes more to be safe but failed miserably. In the end I had no idea how to try and drive. At times it would work fine for a few laps which was very frustrating. I was going to pit and retire but found a couple racing for fun at the back, I think possibly with damaged cars so joined them. I managed to smash my headlights on Eifelblitz spinning car so was unable to flash drivers by for the last few laps. I have another G27 shifter but think that one might have had problems and that’s why I dug out this one. I have just noticed this is a G25.
Grats winner and podiums.
C U when I the shifter problem sorted.

I knew that there were differences but hadn't considered them a big enough difference to worry about. And I would dispute that they are "hidden" differences. The car showroom shows whether the car has a small or large rear spoiler and the car specs clearly state the cars power and weight differences. For the future series I'll restrict all entrant's to just one engine size. This will mean that some driver's will have to chose alternative cars. Hopefully this will satisfy everyone.

I had technical issues so had to start last. At the start the car was like a torpedo - overtkaking car after car, and at the end of lap one i was somewhere 5-7 position. After that was clear that this time i had not enough pace and started battles with the guys. Every one of them (the battles) was great, so i've enjoyed the event. Great fair play as well. I know this is common here, but good to note it. Congrats to the winner and the podium drivers. Race replay with camera and commentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg5wSydjr8w

Matt had the problem with your car and mine. You were asked in chat several times, to change your car, but you failed to respond.

Hadn't noticed the differences with the cars until Hristo mentioned them. Seeing Kurt post a 1:52.999 time as his best, when the most I could do was 1:54.9, was quite a shocker - either there really is a difference, or else I must be doing something wrong in my driving or setup. Had practiced starting and did get a good start. Fizzled out however, when I couldn't manoeuvre around a slow starting Hristo fast enough. Lost a couple of places on L1, in T1 to Dan, and then to a cheeky move by Dimitar in the Bosch Curve. Then when entering the double left-hander, I got an elegant little tap, sending me spinning off - this is fast becoming a tradition!. Once more, courtesy waiting wasn't practiced. Not impressed Down to 15th and 2nd to last when I rejoined. Made up places by other's mistakes and by a few overtakes into T1 - and by Tony most graciously waving me past. Behind me, Nocatu closed in after an incident, but spun in the Bosch Curve, giving me a breather. Slowly reeled in Dimitar, but getting past proved difficult. Slipstreaming didn't give me enough of an advantage to try for a move into a corner, and after a couple of laps, I got too close in the Bosch Curve, had to back off too hard, lost the rear, spun and kissed the barrier. Lost me some 6 seconds and helped Nocatu close up again, so had to worry about a move from him, while I redid the hard work of reeling in Dimitar again. When I caught up, he went wide in the double left-hander and I slipped past. Regrettably it appears he tangled with Nocatu, as they both dropped back. Up to 6th and not able to go further, as the gap to 5th kept increasing. Apologies for not flashing a 'thank you' to those I lapped - headlights were busted. Grats to Geoffers & podium.

You can't be serious, aren't you? Or maybe you want me to stop and let you take the corner with royal bow?

I think Kurt was reporting a time he had witnessed, but will be delighted if Kurt shouts me down on this.
