Password: see aboveAnd to the final! Glorious Goodwood - I really don't think I need to introduce the track for anyone Currently the title fight is still neck and neck for Darren and myself - although If I win the race I think we have to battle it out via the South Park variation of Roshambo (I have no idea what the criteria used by the Scoring method I picked is!) The fight for 3rd is potentially wide open still - as all it will take for an upset is for someone to fail to finish or to finish poorly! I've already had a good deal of positive feedback on this series - if that continues after this event then I'll make a point of revisiting the formula at a later date using more tracks and probably throwing the Lancia in too if that is well matched. Practice: 19:30 (45 mins) Qual: 20:15 (15 mins)Race: 20:30 45 minutes + 1 lap Cars allowed: Ford Escort RS (Kunos Stock) Alfa Romeo GTAm ( V1.2 from Racedepartment - do NOT use the new 1.21 version! The server will be running V1.2.) *The Alfa has a requirement for the Stock Kuno's Alfa GTA from Dream Pack 1, If you don't have that pack and suffer CTD when loading the car then you need that pack. * Skin pack: Download it here - if you extract it into your Assetto Corsa directory (xx:/.../steamapps/common/assettocorsa) it should put everything in the right place. (Of course it's not a MkI 150-160hp neither) I didn't get a response while we were at Lucca, so asking again : could someone please explain me how to manage to get repairs in the pitbox when it's needed ?

You have to tell the pit crew before you pit. If you use the d-pad on your wheel (I think the arrow keys on the keyboard also work) you have to move down to the repairs options and press the 'right' arrow when highlighting them in order to activate that for the stop. You can do this at any point on track, or if you have time you can do it while in the pit lane approaching your crew.
If you've stopped and they start servicing the car then it's too late - your only option will be to leave the pits when they're done, make sure you've high lighted the repairs you want - and then pit again.

Ok, thank you Tim. I'll need to test it alone though as I'm not sure my key bindings permit it : last time I tried to get repaired in race (Lucca), my keyboard arrow keys did nothing. But I didn't think at the wheel's ones at the time.

Although I'm predominantly an iRacing man I have to admit that this AC addon is a lot of fun to drive and very well done :-)

I meant the track actually, not the car.
Not so many classic cars in iRacing. The Lotus 49 and 79, Audi 90GTO and Nissan ZXT. Next week there are a couple of 87 Nascar's coming

Well done Tim on the race win and the Championship (assuming number of Poles is the deciding factor). It was a good race with lots of close but fair racing. Tim's top end speed on the fast sections surprised me and forced me to defend more than I would like. But ultimately melting rear tyres and a disagreement with the chicane wall meant my challenge ended with 5 minutes to go. Fun cars.... count me in for the next series. Tim is there anything planned for next week? If yes, see you guys next week. If not, see you on the 25th. P.S. Congrats on 3rd Adam in the race and in the Championship. Amazing pace this week

Well after last weeks snooze-fest, the championship finale was anything but!
I must say, lagging so far behind Tim and Darren I wasn't greatly motivated to practice, and wasn't on the pace when I did. After a few last minute changes in practice before the race it all clicked, and I think I knocked nearly a second off my time which a surprise for me as much as it was for anyone else I think!
Nice to be on the front row of the grid ... even if it was only because of Goodwood's unusual layout.
The start of the race was pretty pressured, I didn't get a great start, unfortunately I saw Gary spin and that dropped a lot of people back a bit. Lorenzo was right on my tail, and when Tim made a mistake to allow us by, it was tail gunner time ... Darren's drivers championship at stake and all that!
I did as much as I could for as long as I could, but Tim pounced on a sub-optimal corner exit and that was that. I did at least keep the pressure on for a good while before a touch of the grass derailed my chance of anything better.
Tim and Darren had another tussle post pit stop, but Tim's warmer tyres did the job to get the lead back. Darren getting intimate with the chicane rather decided things ... so where does that leave the champ now?
Pleased to be competitive for the first time this championship, it's been somewhat deflating to see how easily the frontrunning Escorts have despatchd me and my Alfa. I might not have had the better of them, but I was a damn sight closer to it this week, and that - much more than the podium - was hugely pleasing.
A really fun series, cheers for setting it up Tim. Now a few more drivers, and maybe another marque on the grid and it would be EPIC!
