Another great hillclimb. Thanks to Nappe for the organization. I am a little bit sad that it was just under 2:30 minutes long though as it was so much fun.
My first stint was going ok until i went outside the barriers and after 15-20 minutes searching for patch to return and waiting to the barriers to end  Grin i have totally messed up the run. The second one was better, without big mistakes but a little bit short of pace. The third one was fast and i am delighted with it. Now i am waiting for the final results to see if i am able to take the podium.

Congrats to Markus for the dominant win and to Daz for the win in the third run.

Really struggled with this hillclimb, despite around 20-25 runs in testing I could not memorise the track, particularly the second half, just could not remember which corner came next.

First run wasn't too bad but around 2.5s off my best. Second run was a disaster, somehow had managed to engage pit limiter at the start so after about 100m the car stopped accelerating, took a few seconds to work out what the problem was, then ran off track later in the run. Final run, again not too bad, but a couple of small mistakes (collisions with the barriers Roll Eyes) meant I could only equal my first run.

Congrats to Markus on a dominant victory.  I Am Not Worthy clap

This was one of the toughest hillclimbs we had so far. It was very easy to make a mistake and loose lots of time. And very hard to be quick especially in the second twisty half of the track. I have practiced this track a lot, during this I always struggled, not being able to have 3 runs in a row without any serious mistakes. I choosed the small Escort, because it is not much slower than the bigger one and on this short track the disadvantage may be small enough to win the race.
During the practice I had a personal best under 2:26, but the track temparature was quite high. During the race it was way lower and 2:26.6 was okay for the first run. In the second run I achieved 2:25.9. This was enough to keep all 1600 Escorts behind me. In the third run the timer didn`t work, don`t know what happened. But the time was not better than the second run, so it didn`t matter.
Grats to all participants and the podiums!
Thx to Lasse for organizing. Cu in Belgium ;-)

I had watched a video before I had any practise and thought the Mini would be great going up the hill, and I was right. I barely had to steer, it was as if I was driving a kart, the rear was stepping out but it was ridiculously easy to catch. I knew it would not be very fast in terms of top speed but it was pure joy to throw around the corners. Markus was way too fast to catch though, I think his PB was a full 4 seconds faster than mine Shocked Shocked Shocked. That said, I'm very happy with second in the class! (that is, I think I'm second, I'll have to wait for the results!)
