According to the official rFactor Nord. website it says... I included a new smoother racegroove texture (credits to JimbO) to remove just delete "racegroove.tga" from Locations folder

I believe it replaces the racing groove texture used by all tracks.

Am liking the sound of these Rf mods more and more. Are these races reasonably well attented? Think i am going to have a bit of a steep learning curve to get upto speed in time for a race next week though ...especially with these fast beasts. Going to try the demo and Gordini mod out at the weekend hopefully and if suitably impressed will buy the full monte and see if i can get some praccy in before the weds race. Trying to convince the missus i need to race tuesday, weds and thursday will be a bigger challenge

The GrandUK event we had the other night had nearly 20 drivers.

The combination of the 1979 cars and Nordschleife is definately a steep learning curve;)

Might have to cut back soon cus I really am cutting the partner in my life out of my life. I was thinking that by keeping saturday night free that this was surely ample for the poor girl anyway catch you Sunday, monday(praccy),tuesday, wednesday, thursday and I'll prolly just think about it friday and saturday, ohh suit you sir

2 munutes 30 seconds before posting a bump. Must be a record. Try editing the F11979.cch file (or whatever it's called) in your UserData/<your_username> profile directory to bump up the experience and money values. You don't need to buy a car to use it in testing and I don't think you need to own it to use it online either.

You do not need to buy any of the cars. You can use them on or off line without buying.

I reckon the best rFactor league will be one that will feature different cars in each round. Meganes one week, Armaroli the next and so on, will be a real test of driver skill then, and will also get to use the better mods rather than focus on just one.
Saying that am looking forward to tonights race, and guess there will be plenty of time for things to develop.

This event is going to be very hard. Haven't completed a lap yet where I wouldn't have killed the car, I've got invulnabrility on for now That doesn't always help as I've got stuck in the scenery at least 3 times and not found a way out. So 2 questions, are we going to reduce the damage multiplier (which I noticed was only 50% in last night's race) and can we enable car resets? If so how, cos I haven't spotted that yet. Bit too hard this I fear for us substandard drivers.
