I just couldn't hold it together in the race AT ALL. As a result I just wasn't enjoying it, so gave up.  :'(

Replay file available, before I mess things up I'm getting guidence on importing the mixed data, i.e qual from race 1 or not.

This was really hard, I spun on the last lap and it really messed me up, took ages to get into the flow again. Didn't quite beat the 7 min barrier but with a bit more practice it would be possible. No way tho the times Jon was doing, very well done there  Cheesy

What a load of B*ll*x! Practised all week end for this and was doing 7:08 as best time. Quali lap never seemed to register, I'd cross the line and the clock wouldnt start, dont know why. Then the race start was a complete balls up, ending with the pace car out on track. Everyone was happy for a restart which somehow put me on pole. No start light so I let the clock run down then waited.... thought best to go and got a jump start penalty, no worries, I'll stop at pit as we go past which seemed fair anyway as it allowed the original pole sitter guys back in front. Anyway, stopped in the box in pit, watched the clock run its time out, put the car in gear and moved off and was promptly DQ'd.

Oh well, never mind, at least I've rediscovered my RFactor, the mods are superb and great fun, will def be in for a few of these races.

This track is special - narrow, winding, long, terrible. Beautiful.  thumbup1

rFactor: would be beautiful also if we could sort out this terrible starts. Really, a full course yellow on Nordschleife, followed by a safety car in the 2nd lap => disaster.  censored

Second start was ok, lets quit this shity AI controlled formation laps.  Sad
Great chase, Picnic, seems we were making mistakes at the same time, lol. Grats to Jon, Picnic and Radius for finishing the race.  Cool

Great chase in the first race, Radius, was good while it lasted. Don't know if you can safely overtake on this track at all. Certainly not through the corners, on the great straight only.  Smiley

Would be better with more drivers, like 20.

Qual from Race 1 and Results from Race 2  Wink

If you hover your mouse cursor over the qualifying positions you will see that rFactor provides actual strating positions too, good for edited and reversed grids. According to the data, the actual starting grid for race 2 was:

1. Mr Locutos
2. Mr JonM
3. Mr Picnic
4. Mr Shark
5. Mr Jamera
6. Mr TrueTom
7. Mr Radius

with Mr Steinmetz and Mr Paxton not starting. Does that seem right?

The positions look right, top 4 anyway. Think Martin S quit from the first race so probably not around for the second. Not sure about Colin P
